Very Nice improvement. I wonder if the little fishing shop is still there, because in this pic it looks like he's just fishing out in the woods? Maybe this is the back end of the pond?
Pandoras Tower
I think so. Those games look great and all, but in a souped up Gamecube game kind of way. Some of the 3DS games look comparable to the modern tech, in contrast.

Well I own SF4 and I can tell you that while the character models are dripping with shaders the backgrounds are mostly 2D and even the characters are cardboard cutouts, presented in 3D because of the screen. From what I have seen of RE mercenaries the character models are nice but the background textures are nowhere near the best of what Wii can do. I think it looks nicer at times because Capcom shows it off with full screen AA but in 3D the 3DS can't pull of that aliasing from what I have heard. Revelations looks good because its set in dark confined areas and the shaders will help a lot.
Metal Gear looks decent, character models are awesome, in fact this is the area where the 3DS shines IMO, even some of the models in Nintendogs would rival stuff I have seen on 360. The background visuals of MGS3 looks like PS2 quality with some added shaders here and there. I think because the 3DS has a clear higher resolution screen than an SDTV displaying wii some of the graphics will look clear, especially if people are playing Wii on an HDTV.
The real test will be seeing an action adventure game or something. I like nice textures, so while I can appreaciate the shaders of 3DS and the effects, I will spot the nasty textures and forgive it because, hell it's a handheld.
I prefer the N64 version. Thought it looked great when I played it straight after Wind Waker. >_>
AndShadows of the damned concept art:
GCN games still look great!
But only on an SDTV.
More LP2.
Getting close to the end I think.

Exciting stuff. And seperate sources have backed up the screen on controller claim.
Seriously the only thing I can think of is Zelda when I read that.
FFS Nintendo.
I don't even play the main Nintendo games other than the odd Super Mario title here and there, but I'm kind of eager to learn more about this mysterious console.
LOL, it's begun:
