OMG at Best Buy sale today! DQ9 for $5!! Motorstorm Apocalypse $5... not sure if I should get since I never played Pacific Rift even though I have it. Alpha Protocol $5. Fear 3 $5. And a ton more.
1st week FFXIII-2 numbers = 524,217
comapred to FFXIII 1st week numbers = 1,501,964
and Tales of Xillia 1st week numbers = 525,605
ToX outsold XIII-2 so all signs point to epic bomba
That's too bad considering this one is supposed to be a big improvement....the Japanese are out of touch with gaming.

Not really, they thought XIII was shit and therefore they won't buy the sequel. Pretty logical if you ask me. And Japan is a handheld oriented gaming country now, so I am not sure how a guy that has not even touched handhelds can make a claim that they are out of touch.

Speaking of Bomba's Skyward Sword has pretty much bombed in Japan and Europe. Overall I think it might do Majora's Mask numbers, but I expect Nintendo to go back to a more boring and realistic look. Maybe there is some truth about GGs hypothesis that cell shaded games do not sell well.
^ Maybe. The next Zelda needs to be a major event again and sadly the only way to do that now is to have stunning graphics and crazy action setpieces to show at E3 to get everyone excited. It has to incorporate elements of the generic big action game to get the same attention it once did.
The next Zelda needs to be done in 3 years and not 5 and be released on a console that is not dead. Majora had the same problem. Also show the commercials more at least I can see Zelda's yummy legs more.
Read neogaf. The triple time line of Zelda is confirmed. It goes like this
Link defeats Ganon and seals him in the sacred realm. This would be the adult time line
Link travels back in time and warns Zelda about Ganon's plan before he can grab the triforce. This would be the child time line
Link get's stuck in the Water Temple and never fights Ganon. Ganon is still sealed by the sages and we have the failed time line.
Fear 3 for $5 is an excellent deal.
Wow at those low FFXIII-2 sales. That's a shame as I really enjoyed FFXIII and am very much anticipating FFXIII-2.I got to agree with Iga. They need to launch a Zelda game while the console is at its peak rather than in its infancy or after its been dead for a year.
This is any big game, not just Zelda. Wii 2 should have been out this year, not 2012.
