GS has a 25th Zelda article where writers pick a favorite game to talk about. Tom McShea choose the original and he says it is the pinncle of the series. The man has been bitter for 25 years now at how no Zelda games are hard and with no guidence like the original. I would love a game like the original but that is no reason to put down the far better sequels.
BTW the only 3D Zelda chosen was WW.
Dont forget to stare at her boobs!
"Loved all of Team Ico's offerings."
Everyone else either thought Ico was meh or hated it.
What? No.
Bah, you will get it.
^ Ico is very boring and ugly. Colossus is one of the best games ever made.
My thoughts exactly. To each his own I guess.
I've never played a Team Ico game.
A Day in the Life of a Shy Guy
Both ICO and Colossus are among my favourite games ever and I count myself as a big fan of Fumito Ueda's work. The announcement and promise of The Last Guardian was what made me decide to buy a PS3 instead of a 360 back in the day. While I don't by any means regret getting a PS3, I will be very upset to say the least if The Last Guardian is cancelled. I hope all parties responsible get their heads out of their asses and work together to bring the game to completion and make it available for gamers to play

Listen to Wu-Tang and watch Kung-Fu
To me, Ico is in the same category of gaming as Tomb Raider and Metroid Prime; its an exploration based adventure game. As such, IMO its one of the best games of its kind I have ever played. I love games that are about isolation and atmosphere...to me those are the best kinds of games to just shut the rest of the world out and zone out with. I can see how some would think its boring, but I love that style of game. Especially these days since everyone has ADD and needs balls to the wall action and there's not enough laid back gaming experiences.
I actually like Ico more than Shadow of The Colossus.
Don't care about Ico. I tried it, and after an hour or two put it away forever. Still haven't played SotC. I'm sure I'll get to it at some point.
On another note, for those who are potentially interested in WayForward's new game "Mighty Switch Force" I've given it my approval. The gameplay driving mechanic (the block switching) is pretty simple and yet they've turned it into an amazingly solid puzzle platformer. The graphics are handled as lovingly as anything WF has done in 2-D. There is very minimal story here though. It's basically a bunch of individual levels set up in a time-attack style. Just capture criminals and try to beat the best time. But some of the levels are maddeningly hard and even just gettng past the 16 levels without getting the goal time will probably keep you busy for hours. For $6 its worth every penny.
I could've sworn KOTOR and KOTOR 2 were on LIVE for download.
Considering they were some of the most important Xbox games, you'd think they would be. Even Halo 2 isn't available for download.
This is a missed opportunity. How many people would love to have those games again or experience them for the first time? Especially since TOR just came out.
The MGS HD collection is here! Could've sworn I ordered it for PS3 not 360. Oh, well.
