No disc drive for Nextbox? Wow, I guess it might be a tablet then? That would be ballsy, but IMO a failure. A lot of people dont have the patience or broadband connections to download a massive GB game. And games are getting bigger, taking up more disc space.

I don't believe it. MS isn't that stupid, especially after the epic failure of PSP Go
Adequate broadband speeds for downloading huge-ass games aren't nearly as widespread as they should be in order to ditch optical media and adopt DD for good.
This is true, not nearly enough people have the speed to allow this kind of medium. Plus with the download caps at least here in the states companies would be foolish to limit their sales with all digital as it would eat up my 250 gig limit in far less than a month.
Wow so Ubisoft already knows the reviews of the game it is going to annouce tomorrow?
INVESTIGATE!
I don't buy it either, but they could go the flash memory route (carts).
I know the gaming industry doesn't give a fuck about Australia (nor should they*), but the internet sucks here outside of the state capitals. I get the most bandwidth available and all I can get is 15 GB a month. Even under our new "National" Broadband Network (which is a like FIOS and limited only to the state capitals) the max is 15 GB for $80 a month.
*Given the outrageous rating system that adds cost, incredible taxes that shrink the available number of purchases and drive piracy and low population to begin with.
250GB limit? You could only download 10 games a month!
If thats all you used the internet for, anyone who has HD knows that streaming or downloading any HD video uses a ton of Bandwidth.
The point being that 250GB is limited by American AKA extreme luxury standards. (And yes, they should be world wide.) Note Aspro's post.
I just don't think all Digital is the way to go, and I don't think thats whats going to happen here. I expect it will be like Vita high speed data cards.
Wow I just played coop Unit 13 with Solid Snake with full party voice chat on throughout our full game session we chatted clear, sharpe great sound! Vita really is amazing. We had a blast! I hope Vits gets Skype I could see using this thing to chat with all you guys! Bear in on pod casts WOO HOO. Through Vita that would be a trip.
Bear on a podcast would be awesome. You couldn't do it without Vita?
I probably could but you guys would have to hold my hand on setting up skype ...
Speeds are so slow here in different parts of the country you would have to leave your Nextbox on for 13 hours or more to download an 8gb game.
New trailer, imagine a Wii U Kid Icarus with those sort of visuals:
So no one commented on Quantic Dreams KARA demo this week. What does everyone think of it? I saw lots of people elsewhere saying WOW.
I wasn't that impressed, myself.
EB games is taking orders for DK 3D?
3DS starting to deliver the games, I'm still glad I went vita.
Screw that I want smash 3d. That eb lives in the future.
