NGamer reviews NSMB 2
NSMB2 is yet another great Mario platform game, with some cracking new features, but it’s too similar to earlier games in the ‘New’ series to be a classic in its own right.

Obviously Last Story related, Sakaguchi's producer said he wanted to make Wii U RPGs so this must be his new RPG.
I was thinking Last Starfighter type thing. The U gamepad would be great for flight/ space games (with it being the dashboard).
I just read it was registered in Europe. Not sure now.
Here's that Sakaguchi bit
It's the lead designer commenting:
Q: Could The Last Story possibly lead to more action-RPGs — not necessarily in this franchise — but maybe some action-RPGs for the Wii U with a similar style from the same development team?
A: The development team and Sakaguchi-san are looking forward to making more, especially for the Wii U because it has another [screen] right in front of you that will add another level of strategic elements into the action-RPG. So we are really looking forward to it, but we haven't really planned anything.
yeah it was registered in Japan and and Eu. I'm just happy Nintendo is doing something new.
I looked around the web to see what else uses it, basically some shitty book:
Then, you know Nintendo's only conection with the word ranger is Pokemon.
I'm guessing Pokemon.
Gooch is like Suda. He'd be happy to be making any game, any time. Ain't going to happen.
RE movie news:
In addition to Resident Evil 6, Leon and Ada will also be in the upcoming Resident Evil: Damnation movie. Written by Ghost in the Shell: Solid State Society and Resident Evil: Degeneration screenwriter, Shotaro Suga, the movie takes place in Europe, and sees Leon investigating the use of B.O.W.s in war.
Speaking with Tokyopop, Resident Evil: Damnation director, Makoto Kamiya, says that Damnation takes place between Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6.
“The previous film, Degeneration, took place after Resident Evil 4, but things have changed regarding the proliferation of the virus and the B.O.W.s,” Kamiya shares. “We wanted to show what’s going on in the world regarding BOWs and the characters you’ll play in Resident Evil 6.”
“That’s what we’re showing in Resident Evil: Damnation; it actually falls right before Resident Evil 6. It’s between RE5 and RE6.”
Resident Evil: Damnation will play in Japanese cinemas on October 27th. Sony Pictures will distribute the film in North America. You can watch a trailer for it here.
It will happen. I bet you. If I win I want your new calf.
I just remember, this title was registered months ago.
I hate to say it but Gooch is washed up.
This is the greatest thing ever!!!!
"I have a mammoth tusk!"
Vader, I still have no podcast to edit so you want to try Bordlerlands co-op?
Great news.
Sure. Find me on PSN.
Vader, Had a great time, certainly the preferred way to play that game.
I have to edit podcast now, but let's do that again.
Yup its really fun. Next time my mic should be powered.
Okay, yeah that game is pretyt fucking boring single player, so I'll try and catch you when ever I can. Mrs. Aspro is going to be playing RDR all weekend though I suspect.
EDIT: We'll co-op whoever is behind to catch each other up.
Weekend Gaming Deals courtesy of PC GAMER:
STEAM
The magic of QuakeCon has cut a modest 25% off of Steam’s Bethesda/id Software catalog for the weekend, with bigger deals rotating daily. At the time of writing, RAGE is 50% off. (Note: see below for possibly better deals.)
GAMEFLY
GameFly’s QuakeCon sale is just like Steam’s, except — what’s this? RAGE is cheaper on GameFly. And so is The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Huh! Keep an eye on it.
GAMESTOP
Again with the QuakeCon deals, and again with a couple better prices than Steam. (What’s going on? I’m scared.) GameStop currently has RAGE for $6.79 and Skyrim for $40.19 (same as last week for that one). I’ve listed a few unrelated deals below:
GET GAMES
A new challenger! Instead of riding along on the QuakeCon bandwagon, Get Games is offering discounts on Take 2 and Batman games.
AMAZON
Though Amazon is usually a discount powerhouse, it’s way down here this week because it’s got a pretty stagnant rotation of deals lately. The only major new addition I could find this week is The Darkness II, and that’s not very major.
Checking hardware, I did see that most GeForce GTX 670s and GTX 680s are at least a little discounted. Newegg’s prices look to be about the same, though, so cross-reference.
GOG
This week’s alliterative sale takes 50% off Tremendous TopWare Titles.
Hey Rob, does Saboteur have any co-op? If so, we could own it.

lol, just saw this sig, "Im dyslexic highly dyslexic NEVER post about my spelling or grammer this is an internet forum not an english degree course"
fucking victim mentality. It's hilarious.
I wish I had a friend. And a local strip club
But then I wouldn;t have time to play games and post here, so it all balances out.
Seriously though, how fucking awesome would Saboteur co-op be...

Why I hate regular media coverage of games.
"I wish I had a friend. And a local strip club "
What would the wife say about that?
Ok for those that have played the RE6 demo, it loks great, scary, but why oh why do the controls still feel like I'm shuffling on a PS1 with a load of shit in my pants?
