Steam is demonstrating to power of war this weekend with deals on the Total War series and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Today, pick up Total War: Rome for 90 percent off ($1), or the Total War Master Collection, which includes every Total War game, for 75 percent off ($31). Individual Total War games are discounted 25 percent, with daily deals on certain titles.



This weekend Modern Warfare 3 is free-to-play and is selling for 50 percent off ($30). All of these deals end on Monday, October 1, at 10 a.m.

Interviews with old irrelevant fucks are generally far better than interviews with relevant contemporaries due to the freedom that their irrelevance allows them.

Here's what you should be doing: don't read modern interviews. Keep a list of all the games or studios you'd like to know more about, and wait 'till their death; wait another ten years, then start looking for interviews.

I think the problem with Rare is everyone is sucking thme off still/pissed off about modern Rare, so interviews with former Rare employees consist of: "WOW MUST HAVE BEEN GREAT TO WORK AT RARE!!!! DON'T MODERN RARE SUCK?????" To a degree you still need decent questions.

And now NYC mom and pop shops are selling RE6. I feel like I will be the last person to get the game. A Kangaroo can buy the game right now and I can't.

What I'm saying is that aside from ports this was the only ground up, traditional game that people were looking at as some sort of indicator of what the Wii U tech could do. People were looking at it hard trying to see a graphics difference. From what we already heard from a Ubisoft VP their Wii U games are medium budget and their focus was not graphics and this from the developers backs that up again.

We still have to wait to see what the system could potentially do, I'm guessing second generation of games will show more.
