Fer fucks sake. Who gives a shit about Jordan Mechner? Okay, you made a game 400 years ago, congrats. Like Toby Gard, fuck off. You are not relevent.
Interview: Jordan Mechner on The Last Express
The creator of Prince of Persia talks about his sole adventure game.
We got Binary Domain early too! That was cool.
Had a fun night doing laundry, then walking around my apartment with my 3DS in my face scanning everything, stepping on cats and nearly walking into walls, looking for Denpa Men! Then I attended a Tea Party with Travo, Blew up some dude named Wilhelm and witnessed the rise and fall and rise of Sanctuary!
Good Night!
Podcast exclusive!
Interviews with old irrelevant fucks are generally far better than interviews with relevant contemporaries due to the freedom that their irrelevance allows them.
Here's what you should be doing: don't read modern interviews. Keep a list of all the games or studios you'd like to know more about, and wait 'till their death; wait another ten years, then start looking for interviews.
^I'm still waiting for the good Rare interviews.
I tell you who is good about contemporay interviews. Stardock, Valve and Randy Pitchford (Gearbox).
I think the problem with Rare is everyone is sucking thme off still/pissed off about modern Rare, so interviews with former Rare employees consist of: "WOW MUST HAVE BEEN GREAT TO WORK AT RARE!!!! DON'T MODERN RARE SUCK?????" To a degree you still need decent questions.
Sexy.
Exactly. And , the leading question, "Doesn't MS suck?"
Metal Gear Rising Limited Edition comes with...
And now NYC mom and pop shops are selling RE6. I feel like I will be the last person to get the game. A Kangaroo can buy the game right now and I can't.
I saw you GME, its just you and me, alone at night...
So does that make another RE game I've kinda scooped you on?
Damn you HOMER!!!!!!
Enjoy. Be sure to post impressions.
"Nintendo Direct was all about NSMB2 DLC. Gold rush levels, ugh."
I guess this is officially when I stop acting like a Nintendo Direct is like the Soviets using the Red Phone to call the White House.
I do this, with certain games you know what you are getting, you roughluy know the level of quality so there is nothing to do but wait for reviews. There is no need to track them so much.
Rare and MS have only themselves to blame because modern Rare does not talk or is not allowed to talk about what they are doing.
Plus their games suck.
(kidding)
I thought it was the Bat Phone?
From yesterday.
Yeah, this is what I thought. Smallish team, medium budget not pushing graphics.
So what you're saying is that ZombiU is going to suck as well?
What I'm saying is that aside from ports this was the only ground up, traditional game that people were looking at as some sort of indicator of what the Wii U tech could do. People were looking at it hard trying to see a graphics difference. From what we already heard from a Ubisoft VP their Wii U games are medium budget and their focus was not graphics and this from the developers backs that up again.
We still have to wait to see what the system could potentially do, I'm guessing second generation of games will show more.
What is the point of even making ME3 Wii U in the first place then?
