I just played Ridge Racer Unbounded demo. WTF is this shit?
This has absolutely nothing to do with Ridge Racer at all! It doesn't look or play anything like Ridge Racer. Did they make some generic car combat game, and decide later on to slap the Ridge Racer title on it? Because that exactly what this feels like.
Awful. Just awful.
^ Okay, I have no idea what that has to do with my post.

Nothing, I just saw it and had to post it.
Does anyone want an XBLA code for The Splatters?
HAVE I MENTIONED HOW MUCH I F$&*@&%^%^IN' HATE THIS GENERATION OF CONSOLES?!!!
^ Did one die?
There's been a few instances of putting a disc in my 360 and I would hear 'Click, Click, Click' and nothing would ever appear in the Game Window. Hitting 'Play' while on that window would just get a black screen and a 'Disc Cannot be Read' error, instructing me to take out and clean the disc. (The discs were pristine).
Last night and this morning RIGHT in the middle of some XCOM battles, I got the same message while playing, and then the game Quit entirely. I got booted back to the Xbox Dashboard.
I finally just got fed up and went to Target this morning and just got a new one.
I got this system in MARCH, though, when Mass Effect came out! I know I played ALOT of Skyrim and Borderlands 2, but not nearly as much as some hardcore people would! Two hours tops at a time, maybe...
So. This morning has been spent Transferring Licenses, Re-downloading games and moving Save files from Memory Stick to Hard Drive.
How horrible.
The quality of consoles this generation has been just horrible. I think all of us have gone through multiple systems now. Sorry to hear that leo.
I doubt i'll be getting any of the new ones at launch next time.
(unless it was a Nintendo system which you could drop off your roof and have a bear run by and shit in it and it would still work fine)
I am re-downloading like 30 Live Arcade games... 360 is QUICK, but this is still taking forever!
I do have to say though that time aside, the 360 has the most painless and user-friendly methods TO transfer from one system to another. It's very easy to move profiles, saves, subscriptions and content on to a memory stick to transfer data that way --AND-- the transferring of licenses and re-downloading of games process is very simple too. This would be incredibly difficult and even more time consuming for a Playstation and next to impossible for a Nintendo system!
...as soon as I could, I restored my Borderlands 2 saves and Subscriptions, Compatability Pack and Pre-Order bonuses, and I am --VERY-- happy to say they are all fine!
**Whew!**
Fully Restored!
**That only took about 5.5 hours!**
