Seriously Lovey Smith is too soft, he needs to go. This game is a nightmare.
Yeah its an old fashion beat down tonight.
I feel like everyone on miiverse is a talented artist except me.
Seriously you guys should see these drawings. Imagine a non-stop stream of swap note involving thousands online.I love that you can instantly see which games are popular. Obviously NL, NSMB and ZombiU are the most popular. Then CoD. Then its Sonic racing, Scribblenaughts, Batman and AC3 all around the same. Worst community, Wipeout 3.
Can't wait I finally get mine tomorrow, but the other games not until wednesday.
Holy shit, Nintendo has miiverse ninjas on the lookout. Dont post anything about your username on other sites or they shut you down.
So you can't share your username?
I think I got severely fucked over.....I didn't die for a long time, then went through a door and got gangraped by 4 blazing fast zombies. dead. Then I became the girl, and instead of letting me catch my breath, my sae house was overrun with like 20 zombies.....fucking dead within a minute.
Now I am on my third character and hopefully things will settle down. I was actually sad when my 1st guy died...he lived so long I got attatched to the guy.
I tried Metroid Prime Trilogy and didn't see any difference at all graphically...looked just like it did on the Wii.
I almost wish Nintendo had waited for the Wii U to have Retro make an HD version of Trilogy. That would have been worth owning the console for by itself. BTW...what do you guys feel , if Retro was to make a new Metroid, that they should do controls wise? The Remote worked really well for Metroid but I honestly never feel totally comfortable using it...even though the Gamecube controls weren't as good, they were more comfortable to me.
I think they could use the Gamepad in some genius ways for Metroid...obviously scanning. And now that they have a pad with dual analog sticks, you could also move and aim at the same time like normal.
Six hours into Epic Mickey 2, and I discovered only ONE AI glitch. I found a Gremlin hidden behind a wall, and there's a moving platform that you have to time just right to jump up to the area where the Gremlin is trapped. Thing is, the Gremlin's cage is protected by an energy field, and only Oswald and deactivate it. Problem: I could not get Oswald to go past that moving platform; he would just stand on it, ignoring the call button I pressed. Annoying. I ended up leaving the gremlin trapped. Hopefully, I can get back to that part of the game at some point, and try again.
Possible alternate solution to AI glitches: According to the manual, Player 2 is drop in/drop out. If you have a second Wii Remote/Nunchuck, you could take control of Oswald temporally, do what's needed, and then drop out to go back to single player. Unfortunately, I don't have a second controller, so I can't try this.
Despite this minor problem, the game is an absolute blast so far. There's LOTs of cool stuff to find, and the side-scrolling levels have multiple paths, which leads to different treasure.
The controls were the only great thing about Metroid Prime 3. More controls like that, but actually make a great game around them too.
From another website, nope.
Third gamepad charge of the day. Worst battery ever.
At least GG won't have to update the thread.
There is a third party battery coming out that has double the amount of usable charge time, not sure when it's coming. I know GG posted something about it here a week or two back. Thats going to be a huge seller!
Zombi U is so much fun.
I just ran into Dvader's corpse and killed him...but it was in a really foggy area with crates and shit everywhere and it was pouring rain...out of nowehre as I'm looting his corpse a fuckin' gang of zombies comes around the corner and kills MY ass!
So I lost all my shit plus the stuff he had...fuck my life!
Then Dvader sends me a pic of my old self that he is about to kill...so awesome.
I honestly don't see how anyone could give this game some of the mediocre reviews its gotten. Even if its not your cup of tea, its obviously NOT a bad game. And the 4.5 that Gamespot gave it is a score that should be for BAD games. To me, that's a score you give to games that are not fun to play at all, and have hardly no redeeming factors.
Zombi U IS fun to play...its got some of the best atmosphere in a long time, and its got great fresh ideas that will be aped for years. I personally would probably score it around an 8.2 right now...and I can't see how anyone could give it less than a 7 even if you don't like this kind of thing.
THIS THIS THIS.
This game is so much fun and nerve wrecking. The sonar makes it feel like aliens as you hear that beaping when zombies are coming at you. You fear to turn any corner cause a horde maybe waiting. You have to carefully plan every major battle or you are screwed. My current character has been alive for 4 hours, I dont want her to die.
Looking at my log so far I have used the WIi U for 15 hours 31 min.
6:40 on ZombiU, 3:38 on Nintendoland, 2:08 on NSMBU, 1:39 in Miiverse, the rest of the time on other features.
Day 2 and now I am feeling so much better about the Wii U. I have no clue what the future holds but I know it will have killer Nintendo games and some cool miiverse functionality.
Been playing hours and hours of Pushmo / Pullblox.
It's in 9/10 territory now, for a downloadable game.
Devislishly addictive, once you get past the first 2, even 3 worlds things get more complicated and engaging. You get better versed in technique and thinking inwards and outwards and everything clicks. The puzzles are consistently hitting the very satisfying mark. Intelligent systems, what a class act.
If you are down on your 3DS like I was and think there's nothing worth playing till Luigi's Mansion and Animal Crossing or whatever do yourself a massive favour and buy Pushmo for a pittance. It's top draw entertainment. Oh and 3D? Not a gimmick at all, I turned off the 3D a few times to see the difference and a lot of the time it's unplayable in 2D, you cannot judge the spatial area when it's not in 3D.
