Reggie On Wii U software launches ramping up...
"What I would say about Wii U - and what Mr. Iwata has said - is that the pace of launches has been slower than we hoped. But as we prepare for E3, the pace of launches for Wii U is going to dramatically increase."
I don't even look at the manuals any more. Once you pop the game in for the first time, it will ask you if you want to go straight to the Tutorial, which is great, but, sorry, doesn't help you at the moment.
For anyone that cares: Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers is an AWESOME game! Is it dated? Yes --BUT-- you'd be surprised by the depth of it, despite its age. This was a Saturn title and it does feel like one (for better or worse), but the familiar SMT elements are all there. End of the World coming? Check! 3D dungeon perspective? Check! Chatting, Battling and Bribing Demons to recruit them to your side? Check! Demon Fusion? Check! Saturn-style 3D complete with the down direction being "turn-around" rather than moving in reverse? Check! The demon are ones you will be familiar with if you've played ANY of the games in the series (with quite a few unique ones to this game), but the lack of animation to them, in this day and age, seems primitive and a missed opportunity at the same time as Retro and a reminder that YES, THIS WAS A SATURN GAME! Despite it BEING a 1990's era game, you'd be surprised how relevant the plot can be today, still. Don't know why this still impresses me, but full voice for all of the important dialog on a game card still impresses me, too. There's a colorful cast of characters, it's REALLY seems to be the pre-cursor to the Devil Summoners of the last few years, and I REALLY am enjoying it immensely, despite its age! Highly recommended for anyone with a 3DS!
Just HOW similar will Link to the Past 1 and 2 be...
...you tell me!
I noticed that earlier. Are we sure that this is a sequel?
OMFG THAT LOOKS AWESOME!!!!
IT ALMOST LOOKS BUMP MAPPED!!!
Fucking Zelda looks like the shit...but on another note, Nintendo is pissing me off with the lack of N64 and Gamecube VIRTUAL CONSOLE SUPPORT.
They said it takes place in the same world. I am sure the game will have all sorts of changes.
Yeah, those in-game "manuals" are no help. When you are in the game I just want to be able grab a manual, check a pge then go straight back to the game. Not exit to menu blah blah blah.
I was actually talking specifically about Injustice and the fact that it has a tutorial right off the bat, and that it wouldn't help Robio as he was probably not at home to play through it. Still don't read most manuals, though. I find most games these days don't really need them anyway.
I miss the manuals so much. They get you ready for the experience. This gen it was great to read as the game installed on the PS3.
