I don't think they were talking about Alpha. I believe they were talking about the guy who posted a bunch of BS Durango rumors, which was Vader's post directly above Aspro's comment.
Dead Space has Killzone-level aiming; no response until about 10-20% input on analogue stick, or very lethargic even on highest sensitivity setting on mouse. If enemies get fast I am screwed. Other than that good start.
Nintendo direct in 15 minutes from now.
Played tons more Lego City Undercover, really fun game. I get sidetracked on the way to objectives because there is so much stuff to see. The buildings have free running set ups and you can scan and see a super brick and then spend time working out how to get to it by scaling pipes, entering secret gates, building certain objects, blowing stuff up. All so consuming.
So much to collect as well, if you are obsessive about that sort of thing this game will be your dream come true. The game is littered with a kajillion studs and bricks to collect, tokens for cars and costumes.
I've opened up a lot of the city now, in addition to the San Francisco winding road and Chinatown they have New York Times Square and Los Angeles countryside area like in San Andreas. I just got to Little Italy which has the leaning tower of lego and Venice canals too
There is also a miami beachfront set up, in a nod to vice city. It's too much fun.
Sure the open world bits mostly look like an Xbox game (interiors a lot better) but it's hands down the most fun I've had in a game this year. I did some GTA style car chases, avoided the cops, beat up some geeks from a sci fi convention dressed up as iconic characters - went into a Goodfellas steadycam section and met My Cousin Vinny. I free ran up the side of the Lego store building, chased a Ninja across rooftops, did a jet boosted bike run across the main city and fished the sea for tyres.
Loving it.
Nintendo Direct starting, guess I'm the only one online.
