Do you remember the first year of the 3DS? There wasn't jack until about 7 or 8 months in and then they rolled out SML 3D and Kart 7. And really it took a year before there was a steady stream of games. I think we'll see the same thing with the Wii U and support for it.
I know right! How did they tell you in your video? Us it was Reggie sitting around and he was like "you guys want me fired, FU, here new ALTTP bitches! I'm out!" Ok not like that but that is what it seemed like.
DS was lame till Advance Wars and Mario Kart.
Portable games are cheaper and faster to produce than HD blockbusters. They'll get there in the end but this is why Wii U needs 3rd party support. Nintendo is like the only person manning the oars of an empty ship at the moment. Which is why I'm glad Ubisoft and Warner Bros seem to be giving it support.
