Prepare for the ultimate saga
Y cant Metroid Crawl guy beating Super Metroid is the best game news story ever. That is so awesome.
I still think Zombi U is the best game on the Wii U and still uses the Gamepad the best of any game on the system.
I just got back from seeing the new Star Trek. It was a lot of fun.
GG and Vader's "discussion".
What the hell did I just read?!
That's fine. I'm not trying to short change you or cut off discussion. There are too many points to address and I typed it all up and it got deleted. If I try and half ass an explanation it just leads to presumptions and I am literally TOO tired to do it again because of other things going on in my life at the moment. I am literally exhausted, had a mother of a headache and just cannot go through it again. I am not diagreeing with the essence of what you are saying - these discussions usually go: "You think this" and then the other goes "No I think this" and then "So we agree?" and then "Yep".
Screw you!
Good article, check it out.
"A request from your console has to find its way through numerous routers and servers until it reaches its destination, and the results have the same labyrinthine journey back. To put this in perspective, when the logic circuits of a CPU want some data, they have to wait a few nanoseconds (billionths of a second) to retrieve it from its cache. If not in cache, the CPU has to wait as much as a few hundred nanoseconds to fetch the data from main RAM - and this is considered bad news for processor efficiency. If the CPU were to ask the cloud to calculate something, the answer won't be available for potentially 100ms or more, depending on internet latency - some 100,000 nanoseconds!"
Wow, UK not even on the list.
"Average broadband speeds in the developed world struggle to reach over 8mbps as of Q3 last year - that's only one megabyte per second. This means that whatever cloud computing power is available, consoles will have available to them an average of 1MB/s a second of processed data. If we compare that to the sort of bandwidth consoles are used to, the DDR3 of Xbox One is rated at around 68,000MB/s, and even that wasn't enough for the console and had to be augmented with the ESRAM."
[REVIEW] LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes (Wii U)
"What took me by surprise was how different it was from the previous Lego Batman game and how similar it was to LEGO City Undercover."
Anyone played this on PC/360/PS3?
It's half price on 360 now, I would get it but my box is wheezing like it's going to explode. Is it any good? I might just wait for a price drop and hobo it on U. Miiverse guys say it has better graphics than Undercover, not hard to believe.
Is there a controversial interacial kiss?
It was price-reduced a couple of days ago and very nearly didn't but then I didn't and now it's out of stock. Not sure it would be my kind of game but I heard enough good things from people I trust to at least know it's a quality title. Oh well, I wish my U would at least arrive already even if I only had Lego and Mario to play for the time being. Don't feel like playing any other games at present. Uncharted 3 is so formulaic and by the numbers and the shooting segments are not fun at all. I want an Uncharted game starring Sullivan as a pimp.

What's great about it is, Gamepad speaking, it feels like a part of the game. A natural extension of it, like how the N64 pad felt for Mario 64, or the Xbox pad felt for Halo. On top of that, its probably the best "survival horror" experience in the true sense of the phrase since Resident Evil remake. You feel like you are merely SURVIVING...nothing more.
Unless you go in with the expectation that every zombie game should be about shooting everything and blowing stuff up, anybody should enjoy it. And it's not particularly hard anyway, you get infinite lives and just stash enough equipment in the safehouse to use when you die. It's a good title, could be longer and have a few extra modes to extend it's replayability. Graphics are decent but fairly weak textures compared to what Wii U can actually do in Trine 2 Goblin Menance and NFS.
So it looks like Fuse bombed - maybe they should have done Resistance 4?
I'm not that experienced with old school survival horror. Started Resident Evil Remake on Gamecube but somehow didn't get too far with it. Found it a little bit unsettling. I was under the impression ZombiU was hard as nails from what reviews and players had been saying. I will be on the lookout for when it comes back in stock even though Lego and Mario (+all I have on the 3DS at present) should keep me busy for a while

Wait...what?
Insomniac has proven to be a one hit wonder IMO....Ratchet & Clank was genius back in the PS2 days, one of my favorite franchises of the era. I expected Insomniac to move on to PS3 and get even better. As it turns out, they released a few more forgettable Ratchet sequels and the very average Resistance series. And now Fuse.
Naughty Dog has pretty much done what I thought Insomniac would do, in becoming Sony's best developer. The God of War team has also disappointed me. After unleashing that badass shit on the PS2 I was really expecting something amazing from them on PS3.
It's not like old school survival horror as it doesn't have janky controls and camera angles. It plays like any other FPS but with fewer enemies and you have less of a life bar. It's hard in the sense that you will never complete it with one life, but you have infinite life and the game checkpoints everything. The only thing you lose when dying is the equipment you are holding, not stuff in the safe house chest. But then a lot of the time you have the opportunity to go and kill your zombie-fied character and recoup your goods.
If it weren't for one particular moment where the developers troll you (in a funny way), I think I could probably complete it with one life - with a bit of luck.
Sorry bro ... meant Gamecube. Too many hours at work nonstop. Brain fried
