Bushnell says Nintendo could be 'on the path to irrelevance'
Nintendo might want to listen. Few people understand the path to irrelevance better than Nolan Bushnell. That does make me wonder, what rock did they turn over to find him?
Kotaku: Leaked Ubisoft games are real, embargo drops Tuesday
Nice list there of digital games from Ubisoft. Looks like anyone who wanted the speedrun levels for Rayman Legends will be able to pay for it. What else could Rayman Fiesta Run be? Unless of course it's a new temple run style game, which I wouldn't put past Ubi.
Robio, do you know the titles and numbers of the comics in which the Illuminati tried to gather the Infinity gems?
There was a 5 issue mini-series several years called "New Avengers: Illuminati". It was really more of a set up for several future events (mainly Secret Invasion), but each issue featured something the group did together in the past and usually it was pretty important. I think in issue 2 or 3 they gathered all of the gems and then swore to never use them. It was done in just the one issue. It was a good mini-series. Definitely worth reading.
A few years later a villan named The Hood stole some of the gem and they all got together again for a storyline about the gems. That took place in Avengers vol 4 #7 - #12. Not a bad follow up story, but kind of messy if you don't know who all the characters, and there were a bunch of them. This storyline was sort of a big set-up for the "Heroic Age" (really shitty era of Marvel comics), they were introducing new characters and mainstreaming a lot of obscure ones.
Thanks
^ Feels like 2003 again.
I remember Nolan saying his biggest regret was selling Atari. I do wonder what would have happened to Atari had he not sold it.
Vader is kicking my ass in the Rayman daily challanges. Super human or something...
Yeah, he has the unfair advantage of having Vader-mode at his disposal.
I haven't been trying that hard on them like I did when the app is out. But please send me some challenges so I can beat them.
I listened to a recent hour long interview with him. He is so out of touch, but when he says anything about gaming everyone rushes to his feet like he is some sage. He has backed so many failed commercial enterprises since Atari (and sold the successful few way too eary) to be listened to.
Since it is Sunday, I will start the What ya been playin' segment because I will be watching football later and won't be on.
This week, I finished
It was a good time...all 8 hours of it. But I feel like the series has run its course. Its time for Crytek to either come up with a new IP, or go back to the open ended nature of Crysis 1.
I've also been playing
And this game is really cool, despite the gameplay feeling a bit all over the place. The characters, setting, and story make up for many of the game's issues, in old school RPG style.
Also played a bit of this
Kind of got stuck at a boss and gave up lol....but its a solid game. Must press on...
Also, haven't been playing these but I must get back to them soon:
Me Rayman Legends.
