Yep, I exceed the sys reqs which is accurate to most new games (there are few I have to play on the lowest settings).
I don't know which Sir impressions you were listening to (mine or Aspro's?) but if you were listening to mine, I thought I said that the procedural generation actually had certain advantages in the design of the game, though it certainly had its disadvantages also. Which is not to say what you're saying is wrong, as you're presenting it as a question of design philosophy, just that Sir is not a perfect argument against procedural generation.
The problem with arguments against crowd funding that use elitism as their base, is that elitism doesn't actually exist to a necessarily greater degree in standard publishing than in crowd funding. Standard publishing has a greater air of elitism simply because it's already an established phenomenon. Even though this elitism is often completely false. The people who developed the latest Asassin's Creed are some of the most highly paid and successful developers in the videogame industry. They're also not going to get fired. And even if they did, they're not going to have much trouble getting hired again because they worked for the motherfucking Ubisoft!
Holy crap an actual new member, hello loopy101
Raven, you don;t need to do anything I propose, but you need to change your avatar. From the front page you look like a Bronie and I keep thinking that you are punkrebelecks.
I'd be much obliged if you could spare me one
Don't know if it's going to work outside of North America due to the different eshops, but I sent one. If it doesn't work for you, pass it along!
I feel Loopy.
EDIT: Just noticed I have 1000 trophies even on the Playstation. Congrats to me.
Just beat the first chapter in Ninja Gaiden 3.
So far, this is reminding me of Dead Space 3, in that the basic framework from older games is totally there, but something doesn't quite FEEL right.
The combat seems harder in this game? I died quite a few times not just on the first boss, but also just random encounters with average thugs. The fuck? So I'm not dealing with that shit, I put the game on "easy" mode. Now it feels more like NG 1 and 2. However, the combat feels off...like the moves don't FLOW right, it doesn't have the same smoothness that the older games did. Weird.
The story seems retarded, and they changed voice actors I can tell, and I'm not liking the voicework as much as the old guy. Even the production values don't seem as high, which is odd. The game has a "muddy" look to the visuals, at least so far. I'm playing on PS3 just like Sigma 1 & 2.
So yeah, much like Dead Space 3 this game feels like a definite step back so far.
Oh God, the atrocity!
I almost subscribe to Funimation...until I realized a fuckton of the shows aren't available in my region. Dodged a bullet there. Also their PS3 app is shit.
I assume your auto-correct is messing with your posts again. I fixed it for you!
There have been some reports from a few different sites that the Majora's New 3DS system may still be pre-orderable through GameStop. Something about an error in their systems halting pre-orders before quantities actually ran out. If you try to go to GameStop.Com right now, it's running very, very, very slow. Either there is a legion of fanboys, re-sellers or Vader, sitting there, on the site hitting refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh...
Is anyone interested in Code Name STEAM yet?
I think the game looks BUTT ugly. Even the Fire Emblem characters look BAD, like sub-GBA-quality, bad...
...but it's made by Intelligent Systems...
...it reminds me of XCOM for some reason...
...and they liken it to Valkyria Chronicles too!
So. Very. Conflicted!
Gone.
Not the sexist looking game, but I like everything I've read about it so far. It's on my watch list. Unfortunately I'm getting more and more disenfrachised with handheld gaming, so I think I may end up passing it up just because of that.
It's a game that stars Abe Lincoln, Tiger Lily from Peter Pan, the Lion from The Wizard of Oz and Tom Sawyer...
...How can anyone
NOTbe excited by THAT?!**Almost seems like they are trying too hard!**
Even after they said The Monster Hunter Bundle was sold out, I was able to pre-order it online for launch day. 'Course now that means I have three systems pre-ordered in different places...
...at least I was able to get ONE Limited Edition one...
