Oh yeah. Primarily with sub-par RPGs. For instance there was a SNES game called Lagoon that sat on my shelf for years. I know I played it. I remember going out and buying it, and coming home and turning it on. I could not tell you a single detail about the game other than the main character had blonde hair (and now that I look at screenshots, it would appear I'm wrong about his hair so I officially remember nothing about the game). No idea about the story, gameplay, or even really the graphics now. You could put it in front of me with another name, and I'm confident I'd have no idea that I had played it.
My.... I can't decide if this is straight up bullshit, delusional crap, or if he's just a moron.
Last two I think.
WTF?! Kojima quits Konami? That's some crazy megaton shit right there if true. That was probably the last good thing that Konami had left.
I'm thinking its a joke.
But then again, this has been the way with the Japanese games scene over the past 10 years.
This is where I agree with Wired. Nintendo is an old company with a lot of bureaucracy and very slow to adapt. This is not something we'll see happening in one or two generations down the line. But say in 10 years or longer, who knows? The fact that they're entering the mobile market proves that Nintendo can't withstand pressure from investors for ever. And investors only care for profit. If mobile starts bringing in a lot more money than dedicated consoles, that's where they'll want the company to focus on.
Like I said before, the only way Nintendo can do this without endangering their IP's or way of business if they view mobile as a form of advertisement and steer clear from the F2P model. Doing this will either result in them having to pump a lot of money into mobile as they won't make al ot of it back, or they'll force a paradigm shift on the mobile gaming business as devs see that people are willing to pay a (for mobile) premium one-time fee for quality games.
Maybe they can go back to making good games now? FLAMESHIELD ON

I thought it was funny it is if SEGA owned Mario.
SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:
Mons douche!!!
Goodbye Konami. Without Kojima they aren't shit. No Kojima, no team silent. DONE. They are cooked more than Capcom without Mikami or Square without Sakaguchi.
There is something seriously wrong with the way game companies in Japan operate. When they have almost ALL chased away their top talent aka the guys that make them money, obviously a structure change is needed.
And what of Silent Hills? That game is going to fall to pieces without Kojima.
Holy flurking snit!!!!!
What is happening?!?!?!? NOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Konami is killing themselves, with kojima they have nothing, wtf is going on. Why are Japanese companies minus nintendo so stupid, why are they chasing away all the good developers.
Well this forces kojima to move on from metal gear. Omg what happens to silent hills?!?!?! Noooooooo.
Consoles aren't Konami's focus anymore.

Freedom Planet is coming to Wii U
SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:
nintendo is the last Japanese developer still making consistently great games. Capcom, Sega, konami, Namco, square, our entire youth is practically gone.
I can't believe this. What a horrible day this has become.
I'm going to get Elliot quest to cheer me up, I can use some old school Japanese game designed like games.
