I would have preferred blood dripping off it.
In JLM? I did explore a little bit. Didn't have that much time. I didn't finish with the seminar happenings until after 5pm every day. It was close to 6 by the time I was back at the hotel and had rested a little bit. I walked around as much as I could during the evenings but most things were closed by then. I didn't get to see the Museum where the Dead Sea Scrolls are kept, or the Hebrew University where they keep some of Einstein's original Relativity manuscripts on display. I walked around the old city quite a bit. And also to Mt Herzl park. But it was fine, I was there for the seminar, I wasn't there for tourism. That was the most important thing.

I didn't think it felt half assed at all, I found it a nice change of pace from the Prime games.
I don't really get your point of view on sales. Prime 2 didn't sell great either and if everyone has already left Nintendo, then how is another Metroid game that sells between 1 and 2 million going to broaden the audience? It would cement loyalty from long term fans yes, but it won't broaden anything. As a long time fan I do very much want and NEED a new Metroid and many other poor selling franchises too.
As for the way they act as a company, yes it's quite annoying and bizaare at times, but it seems like you want them to be more like Sony and Microsoft and just become a AAA megabudget mid-30s age crowd pleaser? 3rd parties is the problem IMO, imagine if Wii U had the same games as everyone else and the few top Nintendo titles each year? So it would have the Witcher 3 and Arkham Knight and COD and Ass Creed and all Ubis shit too. Obviously Wii U's architecture and sales have precluded it from getting support so the only answer is to build a normal console next time.
If you break down first party games that MS and Sony are doing they aren't always very productive, they aren't regularly breaking the mould or being of particularly high quality either - in terms of consistency and inventiveness. Instead of builing a normal console Nintendo would rather roll the dice and hope for groundbreaking, unexpected success like the Wii. And as you have said before capturing lightning in a bottle is hard to do.
Not if they just makes the games cross gen and if it's easy to port U code or even if NX is backwards compatible. It's a way to give a little more to U owners instead of cutting them off and generating bad feelings. But like Edge said the last couple of years of Wii weren't great either but by that time third parties had abandoned it. If they hadn't, the release schedule would have been better. So again, 3rd party support is all important but if Nintendo aren't going to make a machine that is competitive specs wise it wont do much. Especailly when the number 1, top reason from surveryed gamers for getting a PS4 instead of XB1 is 'resolution'.
It might mean A LOT to a couple of million of people. Like me.
Zelda has always sold more than Metroid though, right? I do not think the U owners who bought WW remake are going to skip a proper New Zelda game because of it, unless they are batshit crazy.
You're breakin' my heart, Bugsie! I don't like hearing things like that from you! I can't be completely happy if one of us here is not. Wish there was something I can do for you! My gaming has lessened a lot in the past few months; maybe I will stick around here, though, just to make sure everyone is OK. I don't think I could ever stop gaming completely, but I don't mind giving the time to someone else if they mean a lot to me... Don't know where life will take me these days, but I am enjoying the ride at the moment!
Bugsy be well.
I'm going to the Miami supercon, big nerd convention. I'm going to see lando. GG who ever voices the dude in your FMA sig is there, they are using the same pic in the flyer. Mario a voice actor is there. Sonic and Chris Redfields voice actor is there. There are some agents of shield people here. Should be sweet. I should have Robio like pics later.
Omg splatoon cosplay...
My "Summer of Mega Man" has been going slowly so far. I've beaten the first boss of the first Mega Man Zero so far.
Nostalgia is in full-effect though. I've ordered this puppy:
"At over 430-pages, MM25 is the ultimate Mega Man artwork collection! MM25 collects the complete artwork behind every Mega Man and Mega Man X game, including character art, concept sketches, game covers, rare pin-ups, and much more. This new edition also features over 100-pages of never-before-published material, plus new tribute art and interviews from the creators behind the blue bomber!"
Have him record a message in his Edward Elric voice berating lazy VGPress members for not watching FMA:B.
That would be so awesome.
Yes, please!
About time you went to one. I've only been pushing them on your guys for about a decade! I'm looking forward to the pictures. I've got a lot of friends who went to it.
Kind of funny though, but this weekend got split amongst all the convention junkies. Miami as SuperCon, and Orlando has Walker Stalker (the Walking Dead convention). I still wonder why the promoters did that. Had to have hurt their attendence for that.
Okay.... so today I learned there was a Porky's video gamee on the Atari 2600.
I remember seeing the Angry Video Game Nerd play it in one video.
SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:

Thanks guys. Don't worry. Going to be fine!
Yesterday I tried to start a new (for me) videogame after a very long time. Thought i'd go for something a bit "invlolved". So I opened the Metal Gear HD Collection and started MGS2. It's fun ... sort of. Will see if it keeps me interested. I'm playing it on the highest difficulty and the enemy AI is still retarded but I don't care, I probably wouldn't want them to be much cleverer.
