But where's the fun in that?
Would any Complete, Ultimate editions of Wii U games be welcomed on NX? Thoughts?
I don't really see what these games could offer except better resolution and AA.
Sure....all the ones I haven't bought yet.
How about a Zelda Cube Collection with both Wind Waker & Twilight Princess? And you know I want Metroid Prime Trilogy in HD.
The new Zelda will definitely get an NX release. I would even consider Smash Bros U since I don't have it. Star Fox I doubt, because its not big enough nor would it be any kind of hardcore olive branch like Metroid. Pikmin 4 and Paper Mario I could see being ported.
I was mostl referring to Wii U games, not HD ports of GC and Wii games.
DETECTIVE PIKACHU - INFO ON CHARACTERS AND GAMEPLAY
- Detective Pikachu likes coffee, and asks Tim to invite pretty women over for tea
- Detective Pikachu is quite weak around pretty women
- he can talk like a human being, but he’s actually quite slow, and cannot use any moves like a regular Pikachu
- Mike Baker: head of the Detective Agency;
- Amanda Blackstone: the office assistant;
- Amelia Kristi: the new Assistant Director at a TV station;
- Meiko Okamoto: a TV Director;
- Pablo Milan: the owner of the High Hat Café.
Gameplay
- play as Tim as he goes around Rhyme City interviewing people and looking for evidence
- Tim talks to humans, while Pikachu is the one dealing with Pokémon
- once you’ve found a place to investigate, you can search for evidence using a magnifying glass
- sometimes Pikachu will find something on his own
- the bottom screen will show when Pikachu finds something by giving him a thought bubble
- tap the thought bubble to see what he's found
- quick-time events are included
- if you fail them, it will not have any impact o
The only game with Pickachu in it that I'm looking forward to is Pokken Tournament.
Aww, son of a bitch. GameSpot gave Mario Paper Jam a 6. I was looking forward to this game and while 6 is fair I was hoping for more. Will have to look into whether or not to get this some more.
Is this the 3DS game that's a cross between Mario & Luigi and Paper Mario? It's been out for quite a while have they only just reviewed it?
I was also interested in it given that I am fond of both series of games but it got very lukewarm scores. Sort of 7ish on average I would say. Will probably buy it on impulse somewhere down the line but I'm not getting my hopes up for anything too good. I'm currently playing Mario & Luigi Dream Bros and while not a terrible game, it is definitely the worst Mario & Luigi game by far. So boring.

Even I am skipping a good number of 3DS games lately. Paper Jam was one, Final Fantasy Explorers another. I'm only looking forward to Fire Emblem. I actually got to pre-order one of the Limited Editions with all three games on one card... and that's it for portables for now.
If I'm not really going anywhere, I don't need a portable as much as I used to.
I always enjoyed portables since the days of the first game boy (or even the game & watch type games) even though I very rarely took them out of the house (except when travelling abroad). GBA and DS (even the first couple of years of the 3DS) were my most played systems during their time. But there is a noticeable dip in the quality of 3DS games recently it seems. Or it may just be that I can't get into Monster Hunter.

This is why I've never been able to get into portables. I've always been an AT HOME game player. I look at all the great games released on portables, then look at my consoles or my PC and say "Why can't I just play these on those?".
Well SORRY. Two of the biggest Wii U games are Gamecube ports.
Yeah it's that game. It came out earlier in the Europe and is just releasing here now. I enjoyed Dream Bros. myself.
Yeah I kind of slowed down on the 3DS games myself. I'm kind of on the fence for Final Fantasy Explorers. Definitely getting the new Fire Emblem and will likely get the Limited Edition as well.
Don't know if they're as rare in CanadaLand as they are in the states... Good luck!!
Is this the damn truth. I hardly touch my portables anymore.
I sold my 3DS once it became obvious that Nintendo was putting more focus on the Wii U and their next generation platform. The only games I regret to be missing (though I REALLY regret it) is Shin Megami Tensei IV FINAL, Fire Emblem: Fates, and Monster Hunter 4. Everything else seems to be made by B-Teams.
Portables are JRPG heaven though.
Importers keep telling me the game is really good but I can't get over its idiotic theme. How do you take the two poster child JRPG franchises who go against anime tropes and turn them into the biggest anime trope game on the market? What the fuck were Nintendo and Atlus thinking!?

3DS has been sad for me. I have two games for it and nver played them.
Swap 3DS with Vita and that describes my situation with Sony's handheld for me down to the exact number of games. Sad indeed.

Yeah, Vita has not been great ither. I have about 8 games for it and 6 of them have been amazing, but compared to DS, PSP and GBA it's a fail. I have hundreds fo games for those other handhelds (combined)..
