Pokemon Schwert and Schild. Next year there will be Pokemon Shart.
Remember when Famitsu were tough on reviews?
I always thought it was funny how they did this in the PS2 promo shots to make the system look better. They have the disc inserted in the tray backwards to make it look like the tray has a cool glossy purple glaze. Which also is funny because PS2 discs were silver & PS1 discs were black.
I have at least one purple PS2 disc, though it's not a game (action replay 2, for booting pirated games). I think I might have some blue demo discs, too.
Also, haven't Famitsu review scores always been based on adverising money?
Yay! Nintendo is releasing six games for their online service on December 12th. The games are:
NES:
SNES:
I’m particularly happy with Crystalis and Breath of Fire II. Journey to Silius has a kickass soundtrack.
Breath of Fire II was also a favorite of mine. One of the things that series always did that I loved was that it gave you a look at the same world but thousands of years apart. Seeing the way cities and clans evolved was always kind of cool. didn't feel like a lot of games did stuff like that.
I had rented Crystalis way back when it first came out and enjoyed what I played of it. I never did finish it though so I’d like to be able to finally do that.
Really enjoy the Breath of Fire games except for that fifth one, Dragon Quarter, on the PS2. Would love to see Capcom bring it back with another instalment but that’s probably unlikely.
If I'm not mistaken, there was a mobile Breath of Fire That came out in Japan a couple years ago. Not that anyone should take hope for future console games because of that.
Yeah I saw that a couple of years ago. Kind of wanted to try it but there was no word about them releasing it elsewhere.

Honestly, with how good of a deal GamePass is, I wouldn't mind a digital only console from MS. Sure, you can make arguments about how it just becomes a brick the moment you cancel your gamepass subscription, or when MS decides it'll shut some stuff down, but the same can be said for all digital games, including everything on Steam.
For people who like to own games and have bad internet the all digital future is not a reality.
The older I get and realise I'll never re-visit games makes the ownership component less compelling, but the internet issues, whli way better than 10 years ago still abide.
Helpful tip for everyone (this is really a life hack that you'll be able to use every day, so get ready to absorb it... no really... are you ready, I mean really ready, becaues this may change your life.....

Don't buy Breath of Fire for the PSP. It has a game breaking bug in it fairly deep in the game.
Phew.. .glad to get that out of my system and save you guys.
Only the ones that start with a 1 and end with a 0.
Famitsu is famously known to only give tens in exchage for cash.
Same.
For streaming: yes. For something like GamePass, where you download games, I don't really agree. I have a fairly limited monthly download budget, but that doesn't mean that GamePass isn't good value to me. I just only download games I'm truely interested in, and I download them spread out over a couple of months.
Hilarious.
I've never used a stand on any console other than Wii, because I think you had to on that one otherwise it would tumble over without even touching it.
