Well this is going to be a fun news day. It's still in the rumor stage, but a few sources are reporting that E3 is going to be canceled this year as a combination of the Corona virus fear and The overall issues they've had with big names stepping away from it.

If this ends up coming true, I suspect the coronavirus is more of an excuse and a way of saving a bit of face.

That's crazy. Then again maybe not. Today in my office they've decided we're going to start sending people home to work remotely, in order to lower the risk of transmission. And by next week virtually everyone will be working from home probably through the end of the month.

No I agree with you. I think the Coronavirus was a convenient excuse and allowed them to save some face.

That said, I do hope it returns in some form or another. I just thought it was good for the community to have a major event once a year to kind of bring everyone together and bring some attention to new releases and what's in development.

Playing Ori 2, its gorgeous! So far so good, seems like a standard sequel. Lots more action but not sure if thats a good thing.

I downloaded the CoD Battle royale game but havent tried it yet. E3 cancled but most companies have said they are doing a digital event around that time, so the conferences live on in some form.

Not sure. The NHL will probably do the same and their playoffs aren’t too far off. It’ll probably just end the whole season if they do.
