I've started Kirby on Switch this weekend. What can I say? It's comfort food. Chunky graphics, tactile gameplay and just enough gameplay to keep you going while the mind slowly drifts away from the daily worries.
Been playing more Horizon Forbidden West this past weekend. Gorgeous game and fun to play but damn, so much talking.
Couldn't shower one night, so couldn't really sleep. I'm just glad it appears to be healing now.
Playing Neo cab slowly, it's becoming more enjoyable as you build up your customer list.
This is like an Uber simulation.
I haven't played anything this weekend. I feel like I have Covid, except I tested negative for it. Nasty cold.
Get well soon GG and Raven.
Just thought I'd chime in on this by saying that seafood and mushrooms have both been scientifically proven to help prevent muscle issues and bad cases of negative covid. You guys might want to try those out.
**Edit**
Okay I may have rung that alarm a little quickly. Apparently I had to rebuild the database. But I wasn't able to do it in the regular easy to do way. The home screen now is set up in the default manner, but my saves are still there so I think everything is more or less okay.
But it is giving me a little pause. I know it wasn't going to last forever, but now I don't think it's going to last nearly as long as I expected. My PS3 still runs like a charm and it's one of the older fat models, so go figure.
The original plan was to go PC only going forward, but now I hate to think about how big of a library I'm going to lose if I do that. Sadly, this console doesn't look like it's going to be one of those that lasts an extended time.
Neo cab has gotten better. The story has a bit more meat to it.
Some of the Californian characters are too much though. The stuff they say and the way they speak is abhorrent to me in many ways. Wokeness gone wrong.
My PS4 Pro was a bit glitchy. It told me several times I didn't turn it off properly when I absolutely did.
It's so damn good, a masterpiece. What it did to enhance the survival horror aspects by introducing Mr X chasing you is brilliant.
So I've been playing BOTW master mode at work since I hardly do any work. Might as well complete the master mode and kind of refresh what hyrule looked like in that game so I can spot differences in TOTK.
I also got the horizon DLC which is really cool. The LA area is beautiful to look at, some new skills and weapons are fun. Being able to fly into the clouds is amazing but no real gameplay up there, they should have added arial combat. I am loving the story so far, they introduce a great douchebag villain.
I troed the SF6 demo, it's SF. I don't know about this energy gauge that goes down and makes you exhausted if you use it too much. Oh and modern control scheme is awful, can't even tell it to do a punch or a kick. The adventure mode is like really bad yakuza, the worst part is the horrible frame rate. Main game a beautiful 60fps, in this mode the fights are 30 and it's very noticeable. I am a fan of adding adventure modes to fighting games but this one seems pretty boring.
