After EA lost their Tetris license, Google removed EA's Tetris from the Play store, and from my library too, even though I paid for it. Mobile gaming is a scam.
Every time I get a new phone or tablet I jump back into the world of mobile gaming. Personally the whole scene is much less exciting than it was about 10 years ago. Microtransactions have just decimated what it could be in shape the unfortunate direction that it's going in now.
Best thing I can tell you is go to the Play store and sort by the premium games. You can dodge the F2P bullet that way. Most of what you'll find are ports of handheld games or just older games in general (Papers Please, older Dragon warrior games, the Final Fantasy pixel remasters, The Professor Layton games, etc). There's also a lot of old school jrpg games by a company called Kemco. Most of them are second rate, but every once in a while they put together something that's worth playing.

Yes I haven't tried the Netflix games yet, those should be completely free of the push to monetarise everything.
One thing I can't get used to is the picture quality on some mobile games. It can be so low on some games, I can't imagine buying a premium game only to turn it on and find its blurry as shit.
Currently I want to buy Broken Sword 2 but I have no idea whether it will run or not.
Thanks for the best wishes all. And on public request I dug up a picture of the T-shirt I got somewhere on the internet:
Mind you, this is not mine, but it's the same one if you get my draft.
The kids are huge BotW and TotK fans. The eldest has played some skyward sword on Switch as well. They haven't really played any of the older zelda's because of the language barrier. I'm expecting them to dive in to those once they've been thaught English at school. Unlike most kids, they didn't learn English by themselves as they don't watch a lot of TV and no youtube or any of that new-fangled stuff.
Well I tried TMNT Shredders Revenge on Netflix via my phone. No in app purchases, there's a virtual d pad and on screen buttons. Problem is the aspect ratio.
Can't stretch it out, doesn't feel right. Will get it on switch with real buttons and perfect aspect ratio.
Downloaded Gabriel Knight.
Wish there were more full games, not free with in game purchases.
I think I'm having issues with back pain because of my sciatic nerve. Sleep has been hard to come by the last few days. This morning was miserable. Anyone have experience with this?
I can't really claim that issue with my sciatic nerve, although I do have good old-fashioned old man back pain. Yoga has helped a lot, at least on the weeks I remember to do it.
Sorry to hear that, Travo. I don't think I have any issues with that yet. I have to sleep flat on my back all night or I'll have lower back, hip, and/or right shoulder pain the next morning.

Yes, working on stretching exercises. I hit the gym, do the elliptical, then some weight machines, but that may need to change to a yoga exercise.
BTW you guys are giving me blue balls over here. I have 3099 +, will someone please let me sleep and round out that number?
My bro has raised the youngest on Zelda. He's played OOT, Majora, a Link Between worlds, Wind waker.
And Links awakening on switch. He also has Hyrule warriors and was asking me about Fi.
Well so far I'm fairly disappointed with the state of the mobile games I've tried.
Filled with microtransactions, gated by money progression, always online, large downloads. Poor interfaces, and worst of all poor optimisation.
The Octopath Travelar kicked me into the lowest quality visual mode, saying my fold 4 wasn't powerful enough wtf.
Life is Strange visual quality is low, with a muddy, jaggy image and low framerate.
So far only the Asphalt Extreme and 9 seem to be going full whack.
The Play store seems to have a limited selection of games too.
Should we remove our nudes?
My son is also a huge Zelda fan. The two Switch games are his favorite but he also loves Windwaker.

This is why people like mobile emulators so much.

Happy birthday Supreme.
Happy birthday to Supreme!
