New Mario on Switch 2?
Nintendo says, "Stay Tuned". Generations of non-boomers go to internet to find out what "stay tuned" means.ign.com news aspro

For the power on tap in Switch 2 it still looks great, just accepting it is equivalent to PS4 visuals.eurogamer.net impressions aspro
So Japan and America pre-orders are starting for Switch 2 like tomorrow or something?
Feels so weird to think Europe settled this weeks ago. Nintendo did this whole BS system of requirements, which I was rejected for with their golden ticket invitation. Then randomly various UK retailers just kept opening up preorders randomly when they got stock allocated.
I'm glad I secured mine. Seems demand is going to be big.
I think there might be bigger demand this time, just going off my nephew's who were just at the right age to be aware of and play switch but never own one.
Now they're of the age where they want one and of course the newest one.
And it's speculation on my part but there must be gamers who never owned a switch, has maybe seen a Steamdeck and are excited that the new system seems powerful enough to run most big games, albeit at lower resolutions than other systems.
First hour was scary, after that everything worked for me. Got three of them preordered from different sites, will keep BB midnight store pickup if all remains well. I doubt this will sell out.
I haven't pre-ordered so far. I doubt that the console will be that hard to come by since Nintendo has been producing them for a very long time already. There's also not that much I'm looking forward to to be honnest. I guess I'm most stoked for DK Bananza, which is launch window, but not day one and the new FAST racing game, but only if it turns out to be a completely new entry.

Wow, we're old.
I was watching a video from the 70s with my mother and I was like, no Internet? No cellphones, crappy tvs.
Now younger people think this way about the 90s.
Occasionally my nephew will ask when was this made, about a movie or game and I'll say, not too long ago, 15 years or something.
And they'll look at me like 15 years is the prehistoric times.

Now I'm imagine you gamesharing with yourself with 3 switches.
Maybe putting all three tablet side by side to make it like a multi monitor setup.
So, apparently 128kb did this video and GVG about the HD rumble 2 in the Switch 2.
They said the same company who did HD rumble in switch 1 also did the haptic in the ps5 controller. Now they're doing the HD rumble 2.
They say it works really well. They said in a minigame you can feel the controller as you pull it back like a wind up car.
They say you can feel the tires in your hand in drag and drive.
They were also delighted when playing mp4, to have a mouse with haptic feedback. In other games you got physical feedback in mouse mouse when you rotate the joycon.
It's sensitive enough that purely through feedback you can feel the upper limit of the pull back of this wind up car.
They said not many people bought 1,2 switch, so the switch 2 event was their 1,2 switch moment for switch 2.
But they say it's much more pronounced and used in a wide variety of games already. Pretty cool.
I'm reading so many stories about preorders gone wrong, that sites are not working and it's a bunch of chaos. Yet I snagged mine very quickly. The reports make me think I did something wrong and I keep checking my confirmation email to make sure I really have an actual preorder.
Well congratulations on snagging one. And enjoy the uneasiness that you're going to experience the rest of the day as a result of your smooth transaction.

Midnight tonight. I wonder if I should bother to stay up?
Do it!
Good luck everyone trying to get a switch 2. I have tons of screens ready to go. To battle!!!!!!!
Preordered!

My Walmart preorder was super smooth. The only problem I had was on my end because I had to enter a new card number since my previous one expired.
I really wanted to preorder through GameStop snd use some credit towards the cost, but as of right now, their preorder page is not active.

Didn’t do the pre-order thing for the Switch 2. Sleep was more important.
Two Nintendo youtubers are live streaming as they camp out for preorders.

Just, why?
Crazy fools.
