You can use any box you want. You just need some kind of flat surface that vibrations can travel through. Even a DVD case works, though there's really not enough surface area in that case. I'm actually using the box to my Guitar Hero game.
I thought this game was wiiware and that you got the box for free or something from a store for free. They tried to sell this as a full price release? What were they thinking? It got decent-ish reviews though.
No it was a real game, though it was always offered at a discount price. I think it entered market at around $30 though most places dropped it to $20 fairly quickly. It is a fun game and it's got some ridiculously catchy music, but it doesn't take too long for the novelty to wear off. Still for what I paid for it, I can't complain. Plus my son seems to like it, even if he hasn't quite figured it out.
i paid 18 quid on launch. i thought it was alright even though not worth that much

Gary Busey is also very pleased with the Bungie news.
I was astounded at how much my (older) sister got into the screensaver 'game'. I started to think that there could be a popular piece of software with these basic controls somehow.
Yeah that screensaver game is the one my 3 year old likes. That's sort of why I think Sega would have been better off releasing them individually on WiiWare and just let people pick and choose what they wanted. I could easily see people pay a few bucks for one of two of those games, whereas they'd be turned off by dropping $30 for all of them.
Those screensaver games would also work a lot better of the DS too I think. Tapping on a screen is a lot easier to sell people on rather than doing it on a box that the controller sits on.
I figured you were busy. I missed having you around.
Wow indeed. Just woke up.
Bungie is very good at what they do, flop or not it will be interesting (like the guys at id, even their lesser games are still good).
As long as you avoid south and east london, generally you're okay. North is safest, central is okay. Be a little wary around inner city areas. Try to avoid places like lambeth, brixton especially. Avoid getting the night bus and stick to tubes/subway which generally end service at midnight-5am
