I'm very disappointed in you, Britain.
There was a time, however...
...but now, she's just a morbid vision.
Nintendo Wii – 3.2 million units (8 new titles released during 2009 fiscal year)
Playstation 3 – 2.7 million units (11 new titles released during 2009 fiscal year)
PSP – 2.4 million units (20 new titles released during 2009 fiscal year)
Xbox 360 – 1.7 million units (8 new titles released during 2009 fiscal year)
Nintendo DS – 1.0 million units (12 new titles released during 2009 fiscal year)
PC/Other – 900k (3 new titles released during 2009 fiscal year)
Playstation 2 – 600k (10 new titles released during 2009 fiscal year)
So, the Wii gets less software, somehow still manages to sell more Capcom games than any other system and yet, their fy 2010 plan gives the Wii the shaft again with just 6 titles, even less than 2009 and just 1 more than the PS2?!
PSP – 19 new titles with 5 million units of planned shipment
Playstation 3 – 16 new titles with 6 million units of planned shipment
Nintendo DS – 15 new titles with 1.7 million units of planned shipment
Xbox 360 – 12 new titles with 4.8 million units of planned shipment
Nintendo Wii – 6 new titles with 1.6 million units of planned shipment
Playstation 2 – 5 new titles with 400k units of planned shipment
PC and Other – 2 new titles with 500k units of planned shipment
Oh well, I think/hope, given their sales expectations, one of these 6 titles will turn out to be Monster Hunter TriG (end of year in Japan, next year in the West?) which will be awesome. The rest are probably minor or niche titles as they probably include WiiWare releases, some more Resident Evil lightgunning, shitty ports like MotoGP etc. Maybe.
Edit: Or not. Tri's Western release is probably included in those sales forecasts, its within fy 2010. Damn. 5 more titles then, maybe just a bunch of smaller games, ports and WiiWare releases, overlapping with PS2/PSP games...

This is what happens with other companies too. THQ or Ubisoft for instance. Even with trash, they end up selling either more units on the whole on wii and DS, or raking in a larger profit and then just make more trash.

Now Playing: Golden Sun Dark Dawn, God of War Ghost of Sparta, and DKC Returns
It's not bad I guess. I have to see it in motion though. Honestly, I have no idea what to make of it. I prefer the Super SFIV art style so far.
Hopefully we'll see some videos in action soon!

Some interesting stuff here:
I wanted to find out more about Kontorland, so I went to their website to read the following:
Gamers want to detect each movement they make for a more realistic effect. And Kontorland Elektronik is the gaming accessories specialist that can provide the feel.
Makes sense.
“Arguably the bigger problem on consoles now is the trading in of games. I understand why players do this, games are expensive and after a few weeks of playing you’ve either beaten it, or got bored of it so trading it back in to help pay for the next seems sensible when people are short of cash. So while retail may be announcing a reasonable season, the money going back up the chain is a fraction of what it was only a few years ago. This is a much bigger problem than piracy on the main consoles.” - Blitz Games Studios co-founder Andrew Oliver
To me, the only surprise (that shouldn't be I guess) is Final Fantasy 13. I just didn't think many would care this time around. The 360 version was in 15th place, so combined maybe that moves it up to 5th?
RDR screens make me go hard like a horny burro.
Think that was he exact same mission that that happened to me on. It was stupid. Gay Tony is way better.
Maybe someday. I never finished the other one...too many games!
That mission sucked ass. That's the main problem with GTA4 as a whole; they made some missions retardedly difficult because of foolish crap like that. Great game but far from the perfect 10 so many gave it.
"I think it's brilliant, and don't think that it's intended to "battle" used sales. The concept is simple: as gamers migrate to heavier online play as a part of the experience, the publisher needs to be compensated. If the gamer is the original purchaser, the publisher gets paid when the user buys the game; if the gamer is a second-hand purchaser, the publisher currently does not get paid. With Online Pass, EA is ensuring that second-hand purchasers will pay something for the maintenance of the server network and for access to premium content, since they extend the costs of providing these services. Yes, I think it will become the norm at the major publishers, and think that EA is charging too little... - Wedbush Morgan analyst, Michael Pachter
SHUT THE FUCK UP.
Thank god he is not running any companies.
(Sad thing is he is right, people would pay more, he would have the balls to pull off some crazy prices and laugh at us while we pay.)
