How does Arcanum compare to Fallout 2?
One of the site's forefathers.
I used to own Beneath a Steel Sky. I don't want it again - not saying it wasn't good, just don't have the urge.
Arcanum is a mess, I couldn't get into it. Even basic things like character movement and lvl 1 (or whatever you start as) combat just feel wrong. Other people love it. I personally regret getting it, and that doesn't happen often. I'll verify this sometime in the future, they recently added Windows 7 approved compatibility to it, but I doubt the issues I had were related to the OS. It just seemed to be how the game was designed that was messy.
They have a couple other free games too, not sure if they're DOSBox or SCUMMVM based or just Windows.

Has anyone checked out Fluidity yet? Nintendo is really pushing this game. They sent out a message thru the Wii-mail telling me about it and promoting the demo, and a few minutes ago I got an email from them doing the same.

UNCHARTED 3!!!! Not every day you get first footage, screens and info on what will be one of the best games of next year, probably of the generation as well.
Can't wait till Saturday to see it in action!
I can't wait for the game and I'm sure I will love it, but I'm not terribly keen on the desert setting. Hopefully there'll be plenty of variety

What is up with andriasang, I thought they post all Japanese news and shit, this is like the third Earth Seeker update they don't care to report even after I send it in. Like last time where there was a fuckton of updated pages on the official site, I sent that in and the dude said he'd post in, but then didn't, then I sent another with even more stuff, and now this last one, nothing still... Or is anoop on holidays? Someone post that shit on GAF or something, the game deserves some discussion and with how nice the video looks it might actually get it this time too...
Edit: nevermind, they have a thread for the video full of "something looks off" and "the character's face is too high quality" shit. Noone even bothered to explore the website and get some of the images to post or anything. How come they don't even wanna discuss things like this, what does everyone have against this game?!

I just started playing Tomb Raider Legend for the first time, PS2 version. The game is very fun, combat sucks ass but I love the variety in locations.
The face is very high quality in that video. But the pic just above what I'm writing.... kinda looks like a you know what

Despite its shortcomings, Marvel Super Hero Squad: The Infinity Gauntlet is a charming game. Even during the Galactus battle, it was hard not to smile while fighting the planet-hungry giant by firing tacos into his mouth from a flying truck. It’s just a shame that Infinity Gauntlet’s gameplay doesn’t quite measure up to its abundant humor.

Ah, I just discovered the third Broken Sword game was that watered down 3D thing... I actually thought that was only ever released on PS2 and that it was the fourth game in the series, not the third. I should have checked screenshots before buying the whole pack. Also, the "Director's Cut" version of the original seems a bit watered down in some ways, according to some people at least. It's weird that Good old Games doesn't have the original version really. Perhaps they'll add it later as a freebie for people who already own the Director's Cut or something. These realizations make the purchase feel a bit worse. Still, getting all three games gave me a 60% discount, getting just two of the three would be 30% only so I probably didn't pay much more than that.
And yeah GG, that was my point, they didn't even wanna discuss the game having penis monsters... Wtf?!
That De Blob 2 "trailer" is meh. Like THQ tries to make the inkies into Raving Rabbids or something.

I looked at this and considered it for a few minutes and then decided to just pick up the trade paperback instead. Oh and you'll be interested to know that I have a costume prop designer friend building me an infinity gauntlet of my own.
