Also, Super Meat Boy did better on Steam than XBLA, and Microsoft didn't promote it as much as they promised.

Microsoft didn't promote it as much as they promised
I like the Meatboy devs less and less everytime they open their mouths. Their gripe may be legit but it always seems like they have a bone to grind with someone - iTunes, Nintendo, MS, etc. They made a great game that's selling well all things considered. Just be happy guys!
I didn't like their attitude with the whole Nintendo deal but I don't see a problem with having a gripe for things they were promised. Maybe now they'll understand Wii owners' complaints for things they were promised... I mean, they did give up the right to release on PS3 with the Microsoft deal. I guess they didn't actually have a contract detailing the exact promotion they would receive in return for accepting all those terms, but still, this is legit.

This kind of looks like a case of karma coming back to bite them. As you look back at their history with this game they were never consistant and never real professional with how they handled it, particularly working with Nintendo. Not an uncommon story with indie developers. They're artists and programmers, not businessmen and politicians. I'm sure they didn't play the corporate relations game right, and MS probably felt they weren't owed everything they originally promised. Still they really shouldn't complain too much. Nintendo gave them enough free press to make up for anything that MS did not do.
team meat has it coming for screwing over the other consoles for MS i have no pitty for them
New York is the most magical place in the world.
I am somewhere in Virgina, right at the boarder to Maryland. I may have time on Thursday to visit Washington DC.
Nintendo is doing a live stream of the Iwata Keynote, meaning something big is going to happen! I expect a new Zelda trailer. I will be at work! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Well when I get off I have a Zelda trailer waiting for me.
All abord the hype train!!
Pretty much my experience. Can't even do a decent demo launch without network issues ffs... Not that I was every interested in the multiplayer side but I did take the time to dl the mp demo so, meh...

Crytek really dropped the ball with Crysis 2.
I'm a good 4-5 hours into Broken Sword, roughly 25% done. So far it has been a very neat and very classic point and click adventure experience. It has memorable characters, especially the female lead, its puzzles aren't aggravating, it has nicely written dialogue (with a few blunders here and there) and a lovely art style. Good stuff.
Managed to play a few rounds. It's COD with a few suit powers. Doesn't look too great either. Hope the SP is worthwhile, that's more what I'm interested in, stealth seems more fun now (from videos). I liked the sound.
Since you like Broken Sword try Beneath a Steel Sky. Same company, just older (and free). Imo, better. But shorter. You might have wanted to play the normal Broken Sword first, not the Director's Cut. It had better pacing imo. And then you could have enjoyed the extra stuff (basically the Nico prologue) on a second playthrough. I think the DC also censored murder scenes and removed detail animation here or there for no reason. I've installed both Broken Swords and BASS on my Wii (the original versions require SCUMMVM to run on modern PCs, and SCUMMVM has been ported to Wii homebrew) and it feels pretty good. Still need to play through 2.

Don't care how many times I've bought it. Don't care how many times I've played it. Don't care how many times I've beaten it. Vagrant Story is a must-download!
Yep!

Is it just me or has PSN gotten to be painfully slow lately?
It's taking over an hour to DL Vagrant and Pixel Junk Shooter 2 and they add up to less than 200 MB.
i have had times where it was slow and after leaving the store and going back it fixed that
I am watching the Charlie Sheen interview special. This dude is crazy, like mental hospital crazy. He probably is Bipolar, he needs help.
The puzzles actually fucking make sense. I had to look up help on a few puzzles because I was looking for an ILOGICAL solution due to the fact I was playing an adventure game.
