At the very least, they are reasonably priced. Not the first time I've done it though... helped niece, nephew and sister buy DLC songs for Just Dance and Guitar Hero many times before!
I'm trying to remember, but it's been a while so it's a little hazy. I remember feeling I understood what had happened in the end, though I couldn't be entirely sure. Not sure now but I think he kinda "sacrifices" himself to press the switch in order to rescue his wife which in effect leaves him trapped forever in the nightmare ... or something like that.
Can't remember if the DLC gives any more answers, but I remember it feeling a little like an interlude between the end of the game and a projected AW2 (which incidentally has been already written if reports were to be believed)

Listen to Wu-Tang and watch Kung-Fu
It's very odd how much detail they put into things like doors opening and closing and foot steps running down a hall way... The audio is surprisingly VERY well done!
I can't wait to see people's reactions to some of the Scientific Theory story elements they throw in there! Pretty crazy stuff!
It's hard to classify this "game." If you expect it to be game-y, you might be disappointed at first. I would actually describe it as a Visual Novel with Gameplay elements first, so as to set any expectations straight!
If I had to predict, I would say Vader will appreciate some of the almost RE-like puzzles. Yoda will scoff at the "theories" presented... and you will kill everyone on the ship.
Someone else will love it for the Story elements and portrayal of the characters... **not so subtle hint, hint!**
Well so far, I've only heard the BBC documentary stuff, which is codswallop. Entertaining enough though, especially when delivered by Lotus:
I think my TPS experience may be limited to stuff like RE4, RE5, Alan Wake and the Max Payne games or Uncharted if they count. I enjoyed all of these very much. I played just one and a half of the Yakuza games but I do really like what you described, so I'm realising BD has quite a high appeal.
Will listen to those episodes you mentioned when I get home in a week. I haven't played Vanquish yet, but is it similar to that?

Listen to Wu-Tang and watch Kung-Fu
^Similar to an extent, but much better. In terms of the thirs person shooting mechanic, very much so, so if you could hang with it difficulty wise you should enjoy BD very much.
Ep 113 of the podcast gives my fullest impressions. The story doesn't kick in right away, but it ramps up well as it goes.
BOOBIES!
Hey! No fair stealing Yoda's lines! Your role in this game is Grim Reaper, that's it!
+1 for the use of codswallop in a sentence though!
Without spoiling anything... did you "get it" before she said it?
Trust me, I'll kill all these people at some point.
You will get to know them and love them and REALLY feel it when you do though!
Lotus actually turns out to be one of my favorites! BOOBIES! aside that is!

So the new Xbox is based on Intel and nVidia chips like the original Xbox?
That would be funny if it was backwards compatible with all Xbox 1 games, but they had to do software emulation for the 360 stuff.
Funny and AWESOME!

And Leo, yeah I saw it before she said it.
