As far as I know it was only this Japanese presentation, NOA has done a follow up video here with Bill Trinen
So you have one Nintendo Network ID and its used when you want to play an online game, regardless of game or publisher, it just integrates into the other companies network. So you wont have to sign up to multiple bullshit for EA or Valve or whatever. They will just use the base account Nintendo Network ID.
You can video chat on the pad only if you want and watch the same tv show or movie at the same time. Walking Dead video chat sessions? Supernatural season 8 watch sessions? Who's up for this?

Animal Crossing New Leaf is now out in Japan like just now.
Maybe it's up the publisher to support Dolby That would awsome! So maybe it's not a mistake that would make my day!
You would still have quite a few games with only Linear PCM but at least you would get Dolby Digital for some games if the publisher decides to support it. I guess we have to look at some more boxes, wait for the journalists to dig through the sound menus on the u dashboard.
Hopefully some accersory company will release an optical or coaxial cable. Nintendo Europe never replied to my email about the issue but I think it went through to a bunch of suits, not the tech guys - if there are any.
The good news for me is my TV passes dolby digital 5.1 so I won't need a seperate optical cable, most TV's won't. I'm getting really excited about Wii U either way. I'm going to try HDMI to my HTR just not sure about how well it will work it's a first gen HDMI HTR never used it yet.
I tried it out ^ it was pretty cool but going to wait on reviews after the last one. Plus see which is the best version since I will have Wii U soon!

For the sequel I suspect the PS3 with Move or Wii U with Wii controller will be best because of IR for the paint. Wii U version also has off screen play.
I liked it but became frustrated in the later levels because control and camera were shakey. Never finished it.

It's worth it, the end is pretty cool.
The only Halo I've finished was One, so I can't compare... Graphics are striking. Control is exceptionally solid. Music and environments are awe-inspiring, literally. I am playing on Heroic, and the challenge is certainly there. Artificial intelligence is up to Bungie standards, if not better. Weapons all have their uses. Part of the challenge is knowing what to use on whom. It really, truly, utterly lives up to the Halo name and legacy. Haven't tried multiplayer yet. Kinda intimidated, but I'll post impressions when I do.It comes with a proper game case.
