Interesting post by GG. BTW I'm still upset at you leaving GS and leaving me to fend off the hoards of Nintendo trolls by myself.
All I played this weekend was:

It's a great game and all, but I'd really like to be done with it already... What about you mud-bloods?
Mud-bloods? I'm sooo gonna put a vomiting slug spell on you, Leo!
I just started this:
I finished Spec Ops this morning. I also played Super Mario Land 2 and Bowser's Inside Story.
I finished Skyrim (again) and the DLC for it Dragonborn which was excellent and Dawnguard was just ok. I am still farting around in it trying to mop up achievments but i'm not really going fulltime in it anymore. Here and there.
Of course finishing off Skyrim again just reignited my massive raging boner for TES series so I went and bought the GOTY edition of Oblivion on steam and have started playing that. With some high texture mods and maxed settings it still looks quite beautifull in spots. I am really enjoying it so far and have never played The Shivering Isles expansion so I look forward to that.
However all the epic RPGing has made me thirsty for some old school gaming so I started playing They Bleed Pixels. Pretty much Super Meat Boy with some beat em up aspects added in. Fun times kicking enemies into sawblades. It is freakin hard platforming with some fun combat in it. A huge reccomend to any fan of platformers. You know the ones that aren't wussy.
I also managed to snag a modded PSP off someone for $60 and have been playing Castlevania Chronicles, originally on the PS1 ported to PSP. I think it is supposed to be a remake of the first game but after I beat level one it started me on level 5, and the music is all gargled and messed up. I think it's a shitty port or something lol. Still fun to go back to the oldschool style CV game though for a retread. It is a lot harder than I remembered that is for sure. I am just gonna pick it up and play it here and there now and then, not a super serious playthrough or anything.
Still playing Resident Evil 6...right at the end now. Ada Wong's mission is the best part of the game and probably the best part of Resident Evil since RE4...no joke. This is as close as the series has come to the old style...though still not as good. The rest of RE6 is by far the worst of the series....this game is all over the place.
Once this is done I gotta jump into a bunch of new shit.
Oh but its the same game over and over again! GRRRR is that all you want!
Hypocrite.
Worst than RE Zero Edge?
Meh. EXPELLIARMUS!!
*Dodges easily* STUPEFY!!
I finished Injustice and Monster Hunter this weekend. I fully intended to go back to Persona 4, but I ended up playing more Monster Hunter. There's just so much to do after the story ends.... how can you stop playing it?
I also downloaded the 30 cent Kirby and watched my son play that for a while. God the kid is terrible.... I was better at 6. I know I was. Such a fucking noob.
Divinity 2. Game's good, but it starts to overstay its welcome. Basically, it's a good RPG that doesn't excel at anything. Its combat is buttom spamming, flight combat is dull and repetitive, some skills are neat (like the summoning ones) but others are forgettable, it has very good sidequests and some nice references here and there but the main quest is meh. I'm nearing what I hope is the final stretch of the game, but now I'm finding a stupid number of enemy bases (flying fortresses) that feel like they're there just to pad the game out. Mindless affairs where half an hour of flight combat to clear a million towers is followed by another half an hour of ground combat to clear another million skeletons and wizards without even having a good reason for it.
Probably the worst trait of the game is its uneven difficulty. You're basically required to go out of your way to do a lot of sidequests if you want to progress with the main plot without getting ass reamed over and over again by magic/arrow spamming enemies that overpower you by sheer numbers. By now, I basically want to wrap things up but I can't because I'm not leveled up enough.
This is a true example of eurojank if there ever was any. I'll be seeing this through, but trimming down the fat from it would have made it a better game IMO.
Team Fortress 2: I thought I was done with the game, but every now and then I get an itch only TF2 can properly scratch. It has reached the point where it might very well be my favorite shooter of the generation, above other games such as Uncharted 2. Nothing much to say here, when I need to kick back or vent about lousy game design in euro RPGs, all I need is fire this up and I'm frolicking merrily burning motherfuckers in my newly crafted hat.
PROTEGO!!
Yes.
At least RE Zero was like a not quite as good version of REmake.
I have become GG at GS.
I've been desperately trying to finish the co-op levels of Spec Ops as I'm pretty sick of them what with the connection problems. I won't give up until they're done, though.
And I've been playing Cursed Mountain as well, which is a surprisingly relaxed and enjoyable experience. Great setting, decent controls, but incredibly easy.
And of course the comedic masterpieces that are Killzone and Dead Space.
How long do you think it will be until Aspro calls you a fanboy over there?
Whining a lot with diarrhea on the side?
Nice, I liked the setting, I love games which make me think: when have I ever played a game in a setting like this? I will probably never do that in real life and getting to experience it in digital form is a pleasure. It's not a great game, but fairly solid with some wiggy motion controls. If you have a problem with one of the moves, check the manual, in game it looks like it wants you to pull up or down but in the manual it shows you are supposed to push forward with nunchuk, from memory.
I played Lego City all weekend for hours. It's a giant sack of fun, like someone took GTA and dropped gold coloured candy all over it.
