What you playing folks?
This week I beat Bioshock Infinite. Views are in the podcast, but all in all, I did not enjoy the game.
I am close to beating Space Marine, what a hidden gem this one is. Really enjoying the challenge and simplicity of it.
Next? Sleeping Dogs or Max Payne 3...
That Wii U wedding turned into an out of control gangbang pretty fast:
What's left now, iOS?
Ah baseball, the slow paced, pastoral game that evokes no emotions other than the love of statistics...
Anyone here actually manage to win the race in Retro City Rampage? Also, I'm missing special spree 9 and secondary spree 19...but can't be bothered actually looking for them. Anyone? (Doesn't appear to be a guide in any shape or form online except for achievement/trophy whore ones.)
Nope! That's what made me give up on the game! To do mini-games like that when the controls are so poor. Dumb.
Edit: No matter what I did, what short-cut I took, whatever boost I used... I NEVER had enough time to finish that stupid race!
I'm sure it was just a ploy for attention and in a week or two he will announce his return to the game to appease his "legions" of fans...
...of which you will not be able to find a single one that actually asked him to come back...
...don't get me wrong: I loved Fez, but Fish is a whiny little bitch I can totally do without. No way in HELL I would give him the satisfaction of falling for his tantrum and asking him to continue with Fez 2.
6.5 I remember now. The .5 confused me. That's a pretty big drop.
Well it is a side mission, so you don't have to do it. Some of the story mission stuff could be skipped too like the sweat bomber platforming section. I persevered, though. Only cost me about 40 lives.
I think I'm happy to call it quits with 1 incomplete mission (main story finished of course) across the 3 categories. There's a certain symmetry to it at least.
I've been playing bits and pieces of games this week.
Some of this:
Bits of this:
A few levels in this:
And a few levels in this:
Enjoying them all.
Been playing the new Shadowrun Returns game on steam. It is awesome. Combat is pretty much exactly like the old fallout games, turn based, movement on a grid with action points. The story is really good and the game does a good job of easing you into the system and the game while ramping up the difficulty with a nice curve.
I was going to complain that the game was too easy because I went 10 hours without dying but in the last 3 hours I have been getting murdered mostly do to my own poor battle strategy choices.
You even start off the game talking to the main character from the SNES version, game is so good. Has a big toolset so there will be a lot of fanmade content coming and the developers are working on DLC.
I've been replaying Tomb Raider on Hardcorez mode (no optional upgrades). It's challenging and still a lot of fun. Please make a sequel, Square-Enix. DO IT.
I've also been playing Shadowrun. Never played the original so I'm a blank slate in regards to the universe and setting/characters. It's a good game with nice looks and a very interesting story as well as characters.
I have fond memories of the SNES Shadowrun game. I never finished it so I'd love to give it a try one day. I'd also like to try the latest one.
Amazon: Various Wii U games on sale
I've really played nothing, except a little Killzone 1 this week.
I beat the race after a few tries. I don;t remember the other stuff you are looking for.
I played the Genesis one (they were two different games). Had great atmosphere.
