Game Scoop! Presents The BIG RPG Preview
Did you know there are 30 RPG's scheduled for 2014? Actually an IGN video worth watching!?ign.com editorial impressions media phantom_leo
I was quite pleased with myself, 'til I got home, the Bloody Mary's wore off and my shoulder went from being out in the cold, to being in the warmth and... OWWWWWWWWWW!!!
**It was so worth it!**
Hold on one minute...
"YOU! TINY JAPANESE SLAVE!! WHY HAVE YOU STOPPED WORKING?! I NEED A MITHRIL SPEAR TO SLAY THAT DRAGON!! SHIGOTO NI MODORU!!"
I've never done the Street Pass thing. Sounds kinda annoying to make you connect with other 3DS' to play the game properly, though.
It's actually BRILLIANT marketing on Squenix/Nintendo's part, if you ask me! You can just leave your 3DS in sleep mode for the time you need to pass, you can PURCHASE potions that make the time pass faster, if you are stoopid and lazy --OR-- you can do the Street Pass if you are out and about... Not only do you get bonuses for the game, but they'll appear in your Street Pass portion of your 3DS as well... You get bonus puzzle pieces, you can play games with their Mii's, you collect regional information for the passes you make from people around the world --AND-- most importantly, you see what they are playing, they see what you are playing... It's free advertisement for Ninty and the Publishers, via "word of mouth" advertising ...without an actual word being said...!
Nicely done Leo. I had a similar experience when I was at Disney World over Christmas. Tons of little kids and Asian tourists were being added to my Street Pass list every time I turned it on. I so love that little green light telling me I've made a new friend and/or slave.
Hey leo is any of the FFXIII-2 DLC worth it, its super cheap.
Au contraire mon frere, that's what makes Street Pass that much cooler in America. You expect it to happen less frequently, so when it does, it makes it that much more meaningful! On a good day, in the summertime, round the parks, the train stations, stores and streets, I'll get into the double digits easily with Street Pass. Don't even go near the Nintendo Store if you're not gonna bother street passing!
Most of the DLC for XIII-2 were arena battles which were too hard for me to put too much time into. By the time Sazh and Lightning's Story DLC's had came out, I already moved on to another game.

Just for consistency... This is what I've been playing this weekend:
