After much searching, and against everybody's advice and common sense, I gave my wife the greenlight to buy my christmas gift, a PS Vita. Funny thing is, she actually asked me if I wanted a PS4 instead, and I said no. Makes little sense to me to get a console with hardly any exclusives worth the purchase, that I will hardly use at home, especially when I own a gaming PC that eats up all of my gaming time. I also nabbed Hot Shots Golf so I could have something to play.
Vita is good. My favorites: (in order):
I have made such little use of my Vita I charged it only once, I don't know where in the flat it is and I often forget I have it.
Hope you get to enjoy it infinitely more than I did.

Yeah Tearaway and the Danganronpa games are on my list. Also Disgaea 3 and 4 (which I weirdly think would translate amazingly to a portable for small bursts of grind...er I mean...fun), Persona 4 Golden, the aforementioned Hot Shots Golf, Zero Escape, and maybe even a few of those weird japanese rpgs like Neptunia.
I am a splatoon God! I was first place in most matches, I won nearly every battle. I'm level 6 right now.
The maps are amazing, the tower map is one of the most unique shooter maps I have ever played on. The maps themselves dictates strategies, it's so good. Single player is pretty cool too.
Bummer.

If 3rd-parties supported U then you likely wouldn't have even considered buying another console. You'd say "Wii U has everything I need".

It's not a matter of believing it was good, but the fact that there are way too many other games I've wanted to play first. I think $25 was the sweet spot for me.

You must get it too. An 8 player private VGPress match would be amazing. Literally.
Once you hit level 10 you can start to do ranked matches, and that's when you'll find some genuine challenge. Don't rush to them though. Make sure you're familiar with each of the map layouts first. Even then, you'll find you need entirely different strategies to excel in those matches.
