Now that Disney is no longer publishing game hopefully Capcom can ask if they could use the Marvel license again.
One of the site's forefathers.
Yeah that would awesome if Capcom can get the Marvel license again, it'd be even cooler if could also make Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 backwards compatible with the Xbox One as well.
Wow on Disney dropping Infinity. Those things must be expensive to make. Revenue wasn't half bad, even if it didn't reach the heights of the tail end of 2014. Perhaps they got scared of getting stuck with a huge stock of figurines?
There was a large article on the Angry Birds movie in yesterday's paper. They likened the movie to the current state of affairs concerning the refugee's in Europe, stating that it could have been the perfect subversive campaign for extreme right winged organisations.. 'Birds live happily and rich on island, foreigners arrive in boats with a different tone of skin and culture and with a hidden agenda'. And while the journalist was happy to see that it didn't end in your typical Hollywood style, where everyone would be able to see past their differences and would live together happily ever after, the actual ending wasn't any more satisfactory, as the birds end up trashing the pig's home after which they return to their own island and live in peace and solitude.
What does that do for Star Wars games?

That is terrible news. Avalanche was a significant studio, beyond the repurcussions for Disney's toys-to-life venture.
Massive news.
1. Avalanche was a credible studio with worthy development chops.
2. This means Disney was failing to either/ and or Skylanders and LEGO in the toys-to-life genre.
3. It means Disney has no fucking clue what it is doing in the gaming space in the creative sense (yes this move may have made commercial sense, but Avalanche was capable of much more than Infinity).
I am no fan of the physical DLC genre AT ALL, but to shutter a studio that was well on it's way before you made them your toy-whore is reprehensible and denigrating to the gaming development and purchasing communtiy. FUCK DISNEY.
That was intentionally hyperbolic for those not following at home.
Means EA gets sole rights for years to come. Which was happening anyway.
I wonder if EA would be interested in a Rogue Squadron revival.
That's not an Xbone controller. It's their 'own' design.
What a cromulant name though. The whole thing looks like a fusion of a PS4 and Xbone
Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth came out for PS4 yesterday, in case anyone was interested or is a big enough fan!
Bought Spirited Away and Princess Kaguya on BluRay yesterday.
I wonder if EA would be interested in a Knights of the Old Republic revival.
I'm glad I wasn't planning on playing Uncharted 4 last night....fucking cunts lost it in the mail and it got delivered today instead. I would have been livid.
Luckily I'm playing Rise of the Tomb Raider right now so I couldn't care less about Uncharted yet.
Prey 2....something about that is just comical.
1st, Prey 1 was an early Xbox 360 gem....truly one of the best games in its early life. Had a lot of fun with it.
2nd, Prey 2 was actually announced a long time ago, and they showed off clips that looked likea Mass Effect ripoff....nothing like the first game.
3rd, Its just insane that a niche FPS could be getting a sequel after all this time. It came out in like summer 2006....feels like another lifetime ago. I was a different person. Different job. Different car. No girlfriend. A different era. Will anyone give a fuck about Prey 2 outside of the small group of people who liked the first game and actually REMEMBER it?
That said, I hope its good.
I didn't even know there were fans of the first Prey to begin with.
Did you play it?
Waiting on the Wii U version. Time to see if Nicalis will fuck this one up. Seems to be what they do beat after all.
