I look forward to playing Kingdom Hearts 2....I actually never got around to it on the PS2 back in the day. So it's a new game for me. I still wanna play through the original first though.
I've been playing Chaos Theory HD.
Going back to these games, I'm actually amazed they were able to improve them so much from game to game. Especially between two different studios. You had the original made by Ubi Montreal. Then in early 2004, SC2 comes out by a totally different developer Ubi Shanghai, and they were able to make a better game. Better level design and better production. Then, in early 2005, Ubi Montreal comes back with Chaos Theory and takes everything good about the first two and makes it all so much better it's mind boggling.
Chaos Theory is still the best game in the series. It was a perfection of the formula with better pacing, more interesting levels, HUGELY improved graphics to the point where it STILL looks good now. I mean it rivals REmake but it's all real time. Back in 2005 I tried to convince myself that RE4 looked better but lolz nope...Chaos Theory smoked it. At least on a technical level. The AI is better. Ironsides also turns in his best performance as Fisher...the banter between him and the other characters is really improved. He can also interrogate way more enemies in this one and they injected quite a bit of humor into the dialog, which is cool because the first two games could feel a little stiff and robotic. And the music is also a huge step up.
I finished Arkham Asylum and am moving on to Arkham City. The improvements are quite dramatic. AC is the only Batman game where I didn’t complete the Riddler challenges at 100%. I aim to change that.
