Splatoon 2 Octo Expansion shows Nintendo is finally getting it
Incredibly, it’s basically an entirely new single player campaign, and with 80 levels it’s arguably longer than the story from the game’s original adventure.

Maybe you have to play deeper into the game to see what they're talking about. I'll definitely pick it up at some point.
Anyone here play Borderlands 2?
This game is pissing me off. I am about halfway through the main quest and all the sudden there's this insane difficulty spike. I fucking hate that shit. It's like they force you to go play side quests just to level up enough to beat the rest of the main missions. Side quests are supposed to be OPTIONAL, you fucking cunts.
I don;t remember having this issue with the first game, but it's been a long time.
Leo and I played the hell out of the game back in the day. It was my goty. I need to get back to the presequel.
I played through the game as both Maya and Acton. A ton is a great single player choice, as his skill tree can culminate in deploying 2 turrets with shields and missile launchers, which can obliterate enemies as well as draw fire away from you. Maya is great fun in co-op as she's good at crowd control and healing.
That's why I'm having a hard time...they clearly want you to co-op but I'm trying to play solo. Hardly anyone is on the PS4 version at this point in time, and the few people I've got to join my game, well...one had fucking hip hop blasting through his headphones and the other was an annoying little kid.
I did find a spot to do some farming so I leveled up a little bit...I'm now at level 20, and I think mission 12 in the main story? I'm the sniper guy.
Maybe I could redownload the game and join you one day, Edge. Sadly, my save was on a PS3. It doesn’t transfer, does it?
Hmmm...I'm not sure. I will have to look into that.
That would be cool but I'm hoping to finish this up in the next few days. I want to bang out the Handsome Collection asap just to get it done. I'm not sure about the saves...there IS an option on the main menu for cross saves but I don't know if it means PS3 to PS4?
I was thinking about checking this out too...I figured it would be laggy. I wish Sony would have just went the normal backwards compatible route and held off on this streaming shit for awhile. It's just not ready yet. But I know PS3 BC would be a pain in the ass on the PS4, especially considering the PS3 actually has a better CPU. That's the main thing I'm excited about with Playstation 5 and Xbox 4. They're both supposed to be using Ryzen custom cpu's, so they will be by far the most capable consoles, cpu-wise, in a loooong time. In theory, this should also make backwards compatibility on the new consoles much easier to handle.
Just heard that Shenmue Collection is widescreen with 4;3 cutscenes, english or japanese voice work, and the loading times have been almost erased. That should make the games a hell of a lot more tolerable.
