Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories Remix. I was going to dive into KH2, but then thought maybe I should check this one out first. It's not what I was expecting. This was a GBA game, but this PS4 version has graphics like the original game on PS2. There's no way the GBA game looked like this. And the card based gameplay kind of sucks. That was a big trend around this time, which I never understood. I think the only card based game I enjoyed was Baten Kaitos. I'll give it a few more tries before switching to KH2. If nothing else, the story seems great.
I beat it on the GBA. Not an easy feat. In fact, I would call it a stupid thing to do.
For all you guys that were going to get the PS Vita version of Bloodstained, which I know was pretty much everyone here, IGA tells me it's been cancelled due to Sony discontinuing the console.
'Twas a pretty good review and i enjoyed reading it, but I have not intention of getting a Retron 77. The Atari dates from about 10B.G. (before gaming) for me.
The only thief skills that I really used were those that reduced enemy physical attacks and reduce enemy armour.
Yeah you can really mix and match skills for effective results. This really comes in handy for these late game bosses. Those battles get pretty challenging.
There’s also a lot of things that I haven’t used a whole lot yet such as concoctions and capturing and using monsters.
What's great is using a character with self regenerating SP, assign then the thief job then use share SP with a Scholar to launch massively powerful attacks. Then you can use the thief ability to steal SP back. The Pokemon mechanics are awesome. Haanit is a beast when used properly. I have a stable of powerful creatures to use and Linde is always free to use too.
Ugh. Diddy Kong. By far Nintendo's worst sidekick. The last update to Aces, in which they introduced the ability to actually play the full length of a real Tennis set had me considering picking this up again, but I think I'll now again skip it to avoid the risk of having to face that maniacally grinning pest.
Ugh... VR fanboys are the worst kind. Whenever I post a witty comment (or at least one attempting wit) over at Eurogamer I get negged to hell by these humourless, overly defensive VR enthousiasts.
I'm telling ya, these kids modes Nintendo put into MK8 and Odyssey are genius. It lets these butter fingered fools play and enjoy the games without being particularly good at them. More like these please. A BOTW kids mode would be great.

I second this. My son played through the whole of Mario Odyssey in Assist mode as well. I think it was done very well, where they take away a lot of the elements that would put kids under pressure, while still requiring them to actually complete all of the game, as opposed to giving them a magic way of skipping more challenging sections.
Amazon sent me this email....doesn't seem like a good trade off to me?
"We are writing to inform you of upcoming changes to the Prime Savings in Video Games program. Starting on August 28, 2018, Prime members will now get a $10 Amazon promotional credit when pre-ordering select games on Amazon.com. This credit can be used on almost anything sold by Amazon.com. This new pre-order program is replacing the current discount on physical game pre-orders. All eligible pre-orders placed before August 28 will still receive the 20 percent discount under the existing program once the game is released."
So instead of getting 20% off, you'll now get a $10 credit...and possibly not on all games? Eeeeeh.

Yeah....after getting past the first world and already being frustrated, I decided to stop and move on to KH2. I'll go back to it eventually, but I'll be playing on easy mode.

That's exactly what I did. I gave up on the original GBA version when it came out, but gave the Remixed version a second shot. I kind of assumed I just didn't understand what I was doing at the time and would give it a fair chance.
Well either I still don't understand it or its just no fun at all. Either way I moved on straight to KH2 very quickly.

What sort of question is that? ;P
Of course I have a Vita. I have more vita games than 3DS.
I played some RE1 on Saturn this weekend.

Fair enough.
Interested if any of you old timers are getting a Retron 77? They are sold out now but I have one, reviewed here:

My nephews played Mario Oddysey in Assist mode.

I thought you finished BoTW already?
