Both of them did not expect the policy to last long, as a lot of people apparently use the pre-order system more like layaway and gradually pay off their pre-orders. For those types of people, they would just lose their money. Anyway, there's your breaking news for today.
GameStop seems to really struggling these days and I doubt this new pre-order policy will do them any more favours.
True. But so is XCX.
If by "unlocking the mechs" you mean, walk by them then yes. Yes I did.
At the end of the day, while the game is a little slow and open I actually don't mind that stuff. However I do have two giant problems that aren't going to go away no matter how much more engaging the story gets:
1. I dislike the battle system. I didn't like it in Xenoblade Chronicles and I don't like it now. For whatever reason it just doesn't click with me and no matter how strategically I use them I feel like I'm just randomly pushing buttons.
2. I can't read a fucking thing. It's not an exagerration when I say I actually have to stand up and walk to my TV screen to be able to read the request/mission information. Seriously, that is such a poor design decision that someone should be forced to chew and swallow shards of glass.
The combat is also the poorest of the 3 XC games in my opinion.
Don’t you unlock the flying mechs pretty far into the game?
Just because it took you 100 hours...
