I'm 3 and a half hours into the DQ11 S demo on Switch, it's one hell of a demo. It feels like I've downloaded the full game and just need an unlock code to play the rest. I put it on the good tv and it looks great, seems like a great port.
Very stable framerate, nice lighting. Slightly soft looking with moonlight lighting and the outdoor open world bits are not as great looking as the cities and towns, or indoor areas. But overall it's very nice. Also looks good portably unlike XB2.
Game seems very simple though and the story and dialogue sound like it's for under 12 age range. It's a lovely looking and sounding world though, with bags of charm. It does all feel very.... un-interactive though? Like playing a game that is the equivalent of one of those old western hollywood sets, where it's just the front outside bit that is authentic.
Children’s merchandise is apparently huge. Look at Hello Kitty.
If it is as good as the Ducktails remake that Robio gifted me then I approve.
I hate Winnie the Pooh and the extended WtP universe.
Congrats on your part as the main character man!
Probably won't be. These look more like enhanced remakes whereas Duck Tales was pretty rebuilt ground up and updated with significantly more storytelling.
As far as the games themselves I think bith Aladdin games were good, with the SNES version being a little more fun and true to the feel of the movie whereas the Genesis version looked better but more swinging a sword around. Lion King was a pretty run of the mill action-platformer, but I didn't spend a ton of time with that so I could be remembering incorrectly.
Aaaah shit....here we go again....
I must say that I too am surprised that Winnie the Pooh is that high up on the chart as well.
The bible would blow them all out of the water, and it's thousands of years older! The mormons alone are worth some 67 billion dollars, and they're one of the more niche bible franchises!
