Ive been playing Mortal Kombat 11; I got it on the PSN Black Friday sale.
I finally finished Devil May Cry 3, so I've been playing a bit of Vergil. It never ends.
I also started 11-11: Memories Retold which, in spite of the title, is interesting enough so far.t
I’ve been playing the hell out of the Contra Collection. Contra III: The Alien Wars is still easily my favourite Contra game ever. Also been playing Astral Chain and really enjoying it. Things have really picked up in the game. I’m on File 07 now. It’s quite a mix of a game. You got the typical Platinum action gameplay with some Bayonetta like gameplay of attacking and dodging. A bit of Metal Gear Rising where you can utilize a “cut in any direction” with one of your legions. A bit of Wonderful 101 gameplay where you can manoeuvre your legion in ways to entangle your foes with your chain almost like a drawing mechanic. Then you have segments where you’re running around the city doing detective type work, helping people, doing side quests, etc. Quite an interesting and enjoyable game.
I’ve been stuck in a war zone in Death Stranding this weekend. I’ve started the first proper console Pokemon. I’ve brutalized my bf with Sindel in MK11. I bought Jedi Fallen Order. Raced in Mario Kart 8...
...and I love duck...
...and Contra 3: The Alien Wars...
I think that about covers it... 🤔
Oh! I also killed General Haunt in Borderlands 3 and played a metric fuck-ton of Asphalt Racing 9 on Switch cause it was free and it’s AWESOME!
Oops! Played some Eternal Champions and Alissa Dragoon and some Castlevania: Bloodlines on my Genesis mini too!
...did I mention I’m stuck indoors due to a massive snowstorm? Prolly should’ve started with that, it explains why everything else happened in the first place.
OMG! I totally forgot to mention I went to a gay burlesque show entitled Hung with Care...
...that is all!
Was Hung With Care also at home during the snowstorm?
I have been playing Jedi Fallen Order and Spyhunter: No Where to Run. Jedi is "okay", Spyhunter is sublime.
I stopped playing DMC 3 at some point this year. I don;t think I'll go back to it - -not that it was not bad or unenjoyable, but playing on the original hardware just got a bit too inconvenient.
lol, I thought you guys were talking about some esoteric game until I went back and read from the top
Untitled Duck Game.
Considering he is dead in the scene ads a level of perversity.
In fairness, they did invent the walking simulator in the Highway 17 level of HL2. I mean, no Highway 17, no Gone Home....
...
...
Wait, fuck them!
It's gritty realism; blood pooling in the penis post-death isn't all that rare.
High five! I've been playing a lot of Asphalt 9 on Switch as well. Really scratches that Burnout itch and it's free. Although at some point you'll need to at least buy some cares with in game currency to be able to proceed, or be stuck in the free loot box roulette untill you by chance get the same card for 30 times and unlock a specific vehicle you needed to be able to partake in a certain championship.
I'd eat that when properly cooked.
Duck is great, especially in asian cuisine
When prepared nicely it's great. When not it's pretty meh. Problem is unless you go to a good French restaurant you will probably have to do with Chinese duck, either Peking served with pancakes or Cantonese roast duck which is delicious when done correctly. Problem is given the time it takes to roast a duck properly its usually done days ago and deep fried to get it crisp when people order it. Which leads to it being horribly dry. Which leads chefs to smother it in a sickly BBQ sauce.
PS5
I know it's the developer kit but I wouldn't mind if the final version looked like that. The PlayStation V.
Looks like a handy space to put a cup. Or snacks
That's a pretty heavy duty looking dev kit. Those vents!
I think the actual retail unit is going to have some kind of giant V logo on the top for sure. Maybe something like the original Xbox, but better looking.
Tomorrow is the 25th anniversary of Playstation. Rumors abound about some kind of PS5 announcement.
