I’d definitely recommend Monster Hunter World: Iceborne.

I agree with you, but my bud doesn't seem up for it. Apparently new area's and heaps of new monsters isn't enough to rekindle the fire.

Well that’s unfortunate.

I get that though. I put about 2 hours in the iceborn, and just couldn't Force myself to want to play it. I put too many hours into MHW I think. Maybe in another year I'll be ready to go back to it. Who knows? Or maybe I'll just wait on the sequel.

Then again, I heard from a manager at GameStop that Capcom might be putting together a second expansion? Not sure how much validity there is to that, given The current consoles are at The end of their life cycles. But given the success of the game, and a PC audience That is pretty damn big, who knows? Does seem like it would be an easy layup.

That’s really unfortunate as well. I’ve put in well over 1,000 hours into vanilla World and Iceborne combined and have absolutely loved it.

Whether they put out another expansion or just make a full fledged sequel I’ll definitely be getting it.

This weekend it’s been Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition for me. I’m loving XC all over again with the improved visuals, excellent remastered soundtrack, and the quality of life improvements. Such a fantastic game made even better.
