I started playing MegaMan 11 this morning. I had kind of forgotten about one of the more frustrating aspects of these games that has an uncanny way of always happening. You get through a segment where you've completed a series of jumps, slides, and displayed some quick reflexes to get past an obstacle or part of the landscape. And as soon as you pass that very difficult part, you fuck up a completely benign standard jump and instantly die in a pit.
How the hell can someone figure out how to design something like that?
I am in a prison of my own making. So my youngest nephew watches Mario Odyssey videos on the internet and he wanted to play Mario Odyssey so I went over at 12 for him to play. I thought I'd be back home by 2:30 p.m. I was still there 6 and 1/2 hours later. Now all my nephew's into playing the switch the eldest plays Resident Evil with me. The middle child plays Arms with motion controls like a crazy person the youngest now plays Mario Odyssey. And I am stuck there waiting watching and sometimes having to help as tech support. Now my brother is asking for me to give him my 3DS games to play. Which they will lose Or Destroy and now my Nintendo switch has profiles for each of the kids. We were bunkered inside a small room in 23 C heat and with two children farting. Now I have rekindled my rivalry with my brother at super tennis which we haven't played for 25 years. I won both matches 👍. And the eldest nephew has come over to my house every Sunday for hours to play games, now the other nephew is arguing and wants to come over instead and they can't be together because they cause arguments. I think mario odyssey has brought to me closer to my youngest nephew who I really didn't know that well before. I think the only way out of this is for them to finally get their own console.
Well at least you know what you're getting them for Christmas!
I'm getting them the gift of not knowing my new phone number.

That is a special kind of hell.
Now my brother wants me face him in 5 set matches on Super Tennis. That takes as long as a real tennis match 😩 and the nephews drift across randomly or distract you.
And the Arms fan uses motion control and nearly punched me in the face several times. Did I mention the games room only has one chair and we all have to sit on the floor? 😑

I'm playing the trials of Mana demo I haven't really played a ton of 3D Square Enix games but I don't quite understand why the presentation is very childlike. Like a nursery story and the voice acting is horrific. It feels very similar to the Dragon Quest 11 demo too.

not with an adult. And not with a kid who's going to elbow me in the face. What I don't understand is how someone playing ARMS is throwing in kicks too.

Do you like it? My wife has the HR-V

Looks about as bland as the Nolan trilogy, albeit with a better lead actor and cinematography.
I'm tired of super hero movies.
Make the kids sit on the floor, GG.
Well it could always be worse. They could want to play Splatoon 2 or something.
You couldn't share the love seat?
