Returnal getting some great reviews, still paying $70 for a rogue like is not something I want to do. It will be on sale relatively quick.
Almost time for RE! One week left!
Been playing Nightmares of the Deep 2 for the past few hours, a ยฃ1.36 buy in the switch sale. No fucks given, its fun. I'll probably finish it tonight. The art is beautiful, puzzles pretty good (I actually skipped a couple as too brain taxing). I will try them later on a second play through. What surprised me is the production values, there's voice acting, full motion video. Even moving 2d elements and character faces. There's a story that's uncovered as you play. Fantastical creatures and cheesy as hell story bits that are also unarguably fun. Pirates, sunken ships, hidden passages. It's just fun. I'll be getting more of these hidden object games, Artifex Mundi seems to make the bulk of them. There's a trilogy called Enigmatis I want, but only no 2 is on the switch.
^ So what was the puzzle that involved that brass dildo bolted to the floor in the middle of the pic?
Only one week until Resident Evil Village. Iโm getting pretty hyped!
Most of those cheap Wii HDMI adapters are crap. if you get one, be sure it doesn't upscale the image as it will likely make your Mclassic not work as well. This the one I got: Hyperkin HD Cable for Wii
Anyway, tried the Project Triangle strategy demo, as an Octopath fan I was looking forward to this. However it's tactical strategy mechanics aren't explained very well. And the characters are so low res I can barely tell them apart. I have no clue what I'm doing. Hope that a better demo comes out as it looks beautiful.
Started this. Quite surprised, I wasn't expecting much out of it. It's a graphic adventure game, the first one is on android. It's got nice 2d backgrounds and nice stylised 3d models, great voice acting. It uses this comic book style using panels and some smart controls. You have direct control of the main character but can still investigate points graphic adventure style with hot spots.
We managed to beat the Raging Brachydios yesterday. We tried a couple of builds, but nothing kept us alive for very long. Turns out all we needed was the power of friendship!
Literally. We both gem'ed with friendship jewels so that one person heals, the other also gets healed for a certain percentage. This gave us the ability to watch eachother's back a bit and we managed to slay the beast on our first go.
Nice. Yeah that skill can be incredibly beneficial. I always love having a good healer when I join up with others on quests. Three can focus on attacking while the healer keeps us healthy.
