Started State of Mind, an adventure game by Daedalic entertainment. It looks awesome. Screens don't do it justice. All the characters are made from triangles and other geometric shapes. Also I thought the switch version would be compromised in some way, image quality etc but it looks great.
I've had that on my wish list for ages for some reason. Let me know how you like it.
Yeah Bowser’s Fury is some really great stuff. I wonder if we’ll ever see a new full on Mario game like that. I’d certainly be down for that myself.
I am super excited for The Batman. It's even releasing sooner than I anticipated.
It's interesting just wandering about exploring the world and your apartments. The architecture is also pretty stunning. Some areas look like a cross between a luxury hotel and art gallery. It's definitely very much an adventure game, lots of walking around and checking hotpots, talking to characters.
Narrative is interesting involving AI and being replaced by robots. One of the main characters you play as seemed to be an irritating jerk-dad who's having an affair and constantly bitching about his wife. And I have to say, it's very refreshing to be cast as such a flawed character.
But all in a Blade Runner esque futuristic world. It sounds mundane but its very immersive and I'm enjoying it a lot. There's a mystery brewing as to how the "accident" happened. Some cool visual tricks, I had to recreate a virtual holographic wall, really cool.
