Yeah I saw that teaser trailer for Crysis 4. Pretty cool. I’m certainly interested in it myself.
Creator of PlayStation 'can’t see the point' in the metaverse "You would rather be a polished avatar than your real self?"
I think that's easy for him to say. He's succesful. I think there are thousands of shmucks who'd happily trot around a metaverse where they can be somebody, anybody other than their own selves with all their squandered opportunities and failed ambitions.

I kinda do get it though. It's basically a way to create a second hand market for software. But there's no point in second hand DLC and items and such, unless you can earn them in game and cash out. But no one will allow for that, because that'd bring the 'are lootbox's gambling' discussion full circle, because yes, that would make them 100% gambling.
I could only see use for this as to allow people to sell on digital games. But what's in it for publishers? Would it reduce piracy? I doubt it. Perhaps they think that a second hand market would reduce the need for deep cuts in 'new' game prices, as those not willing to pay full price could buy second hand, with publishers still earning on those?
I could see it being used for the benefit of gamers, but the path there is narrow.

There also appears to be some bug where I can't get Nina to wear her disguise.
The in game help system, unlike other Animation arts games is very vague too.
It's leading to far many of those old schoo point and click moments where you get stuck because you couldn't spot something or do things in the order the game wants you too.
Que adverts being tatoo'd on all virtual cleveges. Also on some ass.
Some of the later bosses bullet hell patterns look virtually un-dodgeable
I don't know how those guys do it. My only chance is to be gifted by the gods with some unstoppable weapon and hope I have enough blanks.
This weekend I was partying like it was 1998. I dove back into SaGa Frontier, well messing around with Street Fighter alpha 2 and Street Fighter 3 Third Strike.
More Dirt 5 and Doom Eternal for me this weekend.
