I hope it features both crossplay and cross-save. The first seems a given, the second not so much though. I haven't gotten around to playing MH Rise yet, having had my fill of MH with World, but I'd like to try it out sometime in the future.
I'm not doubting if I'd like it, it's just that I find MH is best when it's consumed with moderation in lumps of 300 to 400 hours a time. I'm not feeling the urge to play a new MH just yet.
It's great. A retro looking platformer. I was dubious on it till I played it.
Fast paced, great controls and music. Game feels a bit like Mario Galaxy without the spherical planetoids. Sometimes feels like good Sonic.
Will be getting when the price drops, although it's launch price is 5 Bucks.
You had me until you mentioned Sonic. So you’re saying it’s not even worth 5 bucks.
Even copy a few platform shifting mechanics. But it's default run speed is fast. There's a button to hold down to walk slowly.
Really breezy and light.
Astral Chain is done.
I'd give it an 8
It's for me an incredibly flawed game that thankfully has such interesting ideas. And such a variety in gameplay that it's parts meld together to make something greater than its individual parts.
There are so many tweaks I'd make to the game to make it more enjoyable. There's a silent protagonist, pretty much uneeded and weird. I presume when you play through as the opposite gender your sibling will be voiced?
The combat wore very thin at the end for me. If you like Bayonetta style games you're in for a treat. I'm not a fan.
The camera gave me a headache, even just watching with the auto fight engaged. There's too many lighting effects popping, you lose yourself in the action. Most enemies sport the same art style so it's not clear at a glance what they are and what legions to use.
There's no proper ending? You kill the final boss and the credits roll, literally as soon as the hit lands. There is an extended epilogue when you reload your end save. And then your main character speaks?!
The final boss is a turd. Cheap deaths abound.
The game has some great stuff otherwise, feels a bit like futuristic Splinter Cell or deus ex. Excellent world traversal, hell Pokemon should use the legions like this for world traversal.
And now I'm post credits there are more missions. Checking out nao
Okay, post credits missions are bunk, just enemy clearing.
No proper ending cutscenes? Eh
