Steam dick?
Thanks auto correct. A dick made of steam. Yes, it's burning hot.
One thing about these 8 bit games that puts me off is the soundtrack.
I'd also like to pick up a shantae game at some point but I don't know which one to choose and the prices are never low enough.
Really enjoyed it for the sub 1 dollar price.
Took about 4 hours. There are no consequences for taking more shots so its just a chilled out adventure soaking up the sights. There is a story running through the background.
Now I started the mode where you have a Par, and suddenly its made me appreciate the design of the courses. Also makes you attempt to master the controls. And it's so satisfying to nail a course or get a lucky putt.
Huntdown is frigging awesome BTW.
Feels like an awesome arcade game from my youth. Going from this to the Final Fight inspired The Takeover, makes me feel like the arcade lives on. Might have to get all the decent beat em ups on switch.
Also started Yooka Laylee.
I did not realise the extent with which they pushed the similarities to old Rare games. They really nailed the way it looks and sounds. I had to switch to the manual camera though.
Looks much better than I expected on a 4ktv
I thought I was the only one from New Zealand on here.

Is steamed dick similar to spotted dick?
Had to pause Huntdown to tell you guys how much fun I'm having with it. It's a game for people who liked 80s movies and 90s arcade games. It's so good, even the music is just so awesome and evocative. The pixel art is perfect, it looks like Two Crude Dudes but plays more like RoboCop Arcade.
You can Pick up and swap weapons on the fly. You have sub weapons like kunai or boomerangs. But you can also pick up grenades. There are explosive barrels.
You can duck in doorways to evade fire. There's also a dodge move to ghost through bosses and enemies who like to get up close and personal.
There's lots of voice acting. The bosses are definite highlights. Some setting the backgrounds on fire. Some lock you in a cage match.
Multiple times actually. Broken DS lite hinge. Wii red and green dots.
Switch low battery indicator. Switch joycons. I assumed they'd send me a bill, instead they just fixed and posted back.
Not sure if it's the same in europe, but you can actually haggle a little bit with NoA. They offered to repair my DS ones for $20, and another time they prepared my 3DS free of charge based on my purchase history. So it might be worth having at least a conversation with them and see what they'll do for you before you open it up.
Of course, if you're confident what you're doing by all means go for it. I'm just basing this on my inability to accomplish anything with hardware.
I'd call Nintendo first to get an estimate. Good luck either way.
