I didn't make it very far in Prime 2.
I can’t remember the last boss in Prime. Only briefly played a bit of Prime 2.
The last boss in Metroid Prime is Metroid Prime.
Or is it?
Debating as to whether to do the same now.
At least this time I remembered that you can easily destroy the coloured metroids with super bombs.
During my first playthrough, I did have to take a break for a day or two because I was having so much trouble with Prime.
I have 95.
They don't put the save point right before the boss either. You have that platforming section with flying coloured Metroids.
So my son, thanks to YouTube, is now interested in speed running through games. He made a goal to finish Super Mario Odyssey in under two hours by May. He accomplished this today. Now he wants to speed run Breath of the Wild.
Speed running is a good way to get value out of older games.
And new ones.
I’ve been playing Halo: Infinite and Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty this weekend. Some pretty good stuff in the new season for Halo: Infinite. Wo Long has been pretty enjoyable. Tough first boss but after that it seems more evened out. The game is like a mix of Sekiro and Nioh. Combat is fun and it’s quite satisfying hitting the parries and landing the counterattacks.
What have you folks been playing?
Civ 6 again for me.
I'm still enjoying my time at Hogwarts.
