Returned to playing through Mario 64 in the 3D All Stars Collection. Still very much an excellent game but the camera can be absolutely infuriating quite often.
This 100%.
I'm going to see Mario this Sunday with the nephews. Speaking of them I broke my right big toe because of my nephew being a brat, not listing to me, he ran to a piano we had when he needed to get dressed. I went to grab him off the bench and the bench got kicked down and landed on my toe. I'm in a boot now, yay, it's not too bad I'll heal in 6 weeks.
How old was this nephew?
I was with the oldest today, moans about everything.
I bought the Road 96 prequel, for owners of the first game it gives you 25% off and the full sales price is only ÂŁ10 before the discount.
Also bought this Visual novel Arcade Spirit for 85% off.
This morning I streamed Trials of Mana while I wait for the games I ordered to come in, and while playing I had someone pop in and start holding a conversation. He was giving me suggestions on how to make the presentation look better, and talked lots and lots about the game itself.
It was nice to have the audience, but after a while it was getting frustrating as hell. I just wanted the guy to shut up and let me play the game. But I suppose that literally is the entire point of Twitch. You're supposed to play and interact.
And now I'm pretty convinced there's nothing at all here for me on Twitch. I don't like watching other people play, and apparently I don't like to talk to people while I play.
Robio the influencer. “Would you people kindly shut up, can’t you see I’m trying to play a game here.”
That can be your new shtick. You could also stream from your bathtub, too.
Gave up after 8 mins.
I used to be good at this game.
Sure, you could but I would find that very boring personally. I couldn’t just sit and watch someone simply playing a game myself. I really only watch one streamer, Maximilian, with any regularity. I like watching him because he enjoys playing very similar games that I enjoy but I also watch him because he’s constantly engaging with his audience commenting about the game while he’s playing, joking around with viewers, etc. Makes for a much more enjoyable experience for me.
Theoretically, if you build up a big enough audience, you can play while they all talk amongst each other. However, I've got a total of maybe four followers. I've never seen more than one of the time either. So that's probably not going to happen anytime soon.
Is no likelihood I'll probably do this a half dozen times and then never do it again.
Yeah, that dood is pretty cool.
This. You'd likely have a million followers within a month.
There's a lot of women out there who stream from their hot tub. Seems to be a pretty successful formula for them. I suspect I would have less success with it.
Yeah I saw some of those. Also saw some where you watch them sleep. Man, what a world.
Yeah, he’s a pretty down to earth guy, has a good sense of humour, and is a competent gamer. He also likes to make it interesting for the viewer in how he plays the games. Puts a lot of time, effort, and money into his equipment to provide a quality stream.
Almost completed it.
Very good game. I'd call it the Phoenix Wright of this generation. Even more so than the Great Ace Attorney. It feels fresh, the story is compelling, the humour is on point. The dream sequences are fun.
The voice acting is perfect and it's fully voice acted.
It has multiple branches where the story veers off into various potential endings. The good thing is that you can use this flowchart to see where the story deviates and how you can activate them.
What's great is near the end, I'm getting the true ending and it actually makes sense of all the other endings too. Kinda like Lost, they tie up all the loose ends in a way you wouldn't think was possible.
Happy Easter everybody!
