Some people said they thought the Rock should have been the voice of DK.

The live action version of Peaches has killed any interest I had in the film, because I know animated Bowser won't live up to live action Bowser.

How do we embed YouTube videos now the gorissen method seems to be dead?

Unfortunately, it's a bit more involved now. I just updated my How to embed Youtube videos on TheVGPress 2023 thread to show how i do it.

Should just be monkey gibberish.

Completed Road 96 mile zero.

Good game and fleshs out the story a bit.

It has these autorunner sections though where everything is depicted as a surreal dream. The imagery is great but it's so hard to spot obstacles you find yourself dying and instant respawning.

There's a few too many of these sections, eventually they started to annoy me. As they interrupted the story.

They can be skipped but only step by step.

Going to try a 2nd run now and see if anything changes with different choices.

Completed Road 96 mile Zero for a 2nd time.

No real difference outside the ending. Basically you're balancing your attitude based on choices and reactions during the game. If you swing too far to one extreme, near the end you won't be given a choice at a couple of story critical moments.

Started Arcade Spirits, this visual novel.

It was only £3 and is my first proper VN.

Not sure I can like this a lot. I've played a lot of VN like experiences such as Ace Attorney.

But I need some kind of gestures and animation from the characters.

This game is literally static backgrounds with static character portraits. You're basically just reading. Gets a bit tiring.

I'm kinda okay with it, but I hope the story perks up.
